Unproper ground? Or didnt connect the power or remote wires correctly.

Yellow should be your continuous power and the blue and white one should be your remote which goes to the radios blue wire. I believe that is correct

Make sure you check all the fuses like mike said. Its more power than what has been running so that could've blown

ok i feel like a turd! i didnt know there was a head unit fuse under the hood fuse box, so do you think i can use a bigger fuse for the clock + radio?

Just put the right fuse size in. Im sure itll work. Probably was the original fuse from 1996.

Does the clock work now? If so then i am assuming something internal with the amp in the head unit itself. Did u check the fuse on the back of the head unit, and recheck your remotes (all wires with blue on them pretty much)

no i took the clock out, i didnt care any more illjust have it for looks if anything lol. but still nothing happening all the wires are connected properly, white /blue---- white/blue
red/yellow-------red/yellow
red/black--------red/black
ground------ground .........
do you think i need to solder is back together to get full power to the head unit?

It must be something with the internal amp of the head unit then.
