I had a b18b eg hatch with the obx racing twin loop. It sounded really good.

+1 for the twin loop.
I have a mugen twin loop axle back on my 99 si. And i love it. Allways get compliments on how it sounds. Not loud at all. Great sound. And when u go wot it lets u know is there without the loud annoying rasp that most others have.
But thats also an $800 axle back. Lol

yuh, my old coupe had the obx twin loop . it sounded great , no rasp and quiet till you got on it, then it just sounded mean.I had a b18b eg hatch with the obx racing twin loop. It sounded really good.

but it wasnt loud enough for me so i got a buddy club pro spec lmao.
I ran just an off the shelf no name one from exhaust shop.

no res, straigh pipe, with all new pipe. to the twin loopWhat resonators did u guys run with the twin loops? That is, if you ran one.
Im not 16 anymore. I like mine a little more on the quiet side. With the resonator it was quiet, but at wot got decently loud.

Can't blame it all on that though. Im running no cat. So catless it's louder and you get the typical Honda rasp. Had it had a cat on it could be a completely different story.

The mugen twin loop was on my si when i bought it. With stock manifold and resonator. So as stated, it was quiet, and barely noticeable till i floored it.
When i installed my dc header, i wanted it louder, so i had the resonator removed.
Years later i got tired of the droning sound. So i reinstalled the stock resonator.
Now it just sounds nice at light throttle. And then when getting on it, it screams. But has no rasp or crackle at all.
Stock cat at first. Then replaced with magnaflow high flow direct fit.
Cant beat it.
