It looks like it may have been a little but not much. I'm uploading a video of the sounds its making now. I know it sounds like the bov or waste gate but its the tranny. It does it randomly and also when it does the noise there's a good bit of vibration in the stick.

Here's an update with my transmission issue:

As I drained my transmission fluid, it came out like it was a metallic silver paint mixture. And that is what was in one little drop of it

Looks normal from the top

And you can see the layer of metal shavings at the bottom. Once the jug is moved even a little, it begins to look like a metallic milky mixture.
Soooooooooo it progressed from 3rd popping out to each gear making noises pretty quick. Needless to say I need to acquire a new transmission. One of my friends said to get a D15B transmission if I could because it has an LSD. Anyone have knowledge on this subject or any suggestions?

Get y8 trqnny then you can get a new mfactory lsd when you want to tear into it.

That's what most people say after a hours of researching. Does replacing parts as I go sound like a good plan? Like if i buy the trans, install it, and then get the money for the lsd and do that install later. Maybe even new syncros if I'm feeling squirly.

Yeah all the lips I own are the real optional lips

Yes buy new trans put it in save up money for lsd and synhros or gears then either buy another tranny to put them in or take yours out and rebuild it. You wont regret the mfactory

Is it the zc vtec trans or non-vtec? Vtec is geared shorter like the z6/y8 and the non vtec like a dx.
But 300 isn't bad if its low mileage

Don't expect this to go very far any time soon. I've got 4 weeks left in a 5 week class. I spend most of my time on home work But! It is for a good cause. Sew on my next stripe and more money

It makes me sad I haven't got much time to drive it since I've been back.
