Today is slow at work (the end of our winter season is always painfully slow. Will pick up in a month). All bills paid, need to pay my trash bill before they gank our trash cans (I always forget about this bill.. bastards don't do e-pay). LA this weekend for my buddy's birthday. Picking up a girl to take with me, bringing her home, and hopefully smashing. It's been way to long. I need to wreck her.

a car that looks like that is not well taken care of and was just beat to hell, no matter what swap was in it. Judging by the car im sure even the swap is done poorly as one would actually take care of something if it was worth anything.
So I have a dilemma. Absolutely NO ONE has my tire for at least a week. I run Falken 912s 205/40/16. And if they were more available I was going to just get two Yokohama S drives for now and them get the other two later because if I'm going to track I would want to run those. Now. Yokos only come in 205/45/16. Not a HUGE difference but still. What do you guys think I should do? They're about the same availability as the Falkens.
Well, here's the run down. The reason the front is like that is because it slid in the snow and hit another car. I'm going to school in the fall, the school offers 50% discounted parts, a full body shop and auto shop, I only pay for parts, and I can work on it myself. Here's the pros. The motor is faster than mine. The motor is I'm better shape than mine. The motor gets better mileage than mine. Its five speed. Its inspected till January 2014 ( it was inspected with the swap after the guy bought the car, and it passed. )
Coins: its red, it needs a little body work, mileage on the motor is unknown, have to put stock mounts in because it has some stupid performance mounts that vibrate like hell.

put two of your good tires on the front of the car and either the 3rd and a spare tire on the back or 2 steelies the same size or something.
at least a week = not that long. you aren't tracking the car any time soon i would hold out for what you want to run.

Ouch. I have a nail in my sidewall of my front tire that causes a slooowwww leak, if it's any consolation.
It's a goddamned b16. The motor is like $800, the trans is like $600. No.
i think you should steps back a few feet and stop trying to justify to us why you should get it and try to look at it from more what you want in the future.
do you want the 96-98 front end? most people find it less nice looking than the 99-00
would you prefer to start with a completely stock car so you'd know that everything was done your way?
is a b16 your engine of choice? b16 is only 160hp.
are you worried about the unknowns of the engine and possibly other details?

so you sound like you've made your choice. there are much much much cheaper options for temp tires if you just need a pair to put around town on. i'd be shocked if one of your honda friends didnt still have their steelies from their car for bad weather or you could always go pick up a pair of steelies with some used rubber on it for the cheap.I don't have any other wheels or tires

Haven't driven my second car for over two months so the battery was dead. Been charging it all day finally got it to crank over. Going to be giving it to my mom so she can park her truck. Plus she been bitching that I have two cars and refuse to drive the new one. I told her its just to build my credit. Just got it in September haven't even put 500miles on it. And since I have a good job now instead of doing the two year loan I'll have it paid off by November.

I really want a 99-00 ex but I haven't found any decent ones or ones that are cheap enough. I'm going back tonight to scrutinize the hell out of it. I wanna make sure the motor is good. The body is mostly simple little things. Paint would be the biggest concerns. I'm not rushing my decision. I've seriously been sitting here going back and forth on it for hours now.

the only two older red cars that i ever thought the paint looked like it was fresh was amy's and eran's 6th gens.
but i was just meaning to say step back from the whole deciding right now thing. don't think about it for a few hours. think about something else like what you want to be do this summer or something. it'll give u a break and u might decide about it while deciding about other things.
