As title says, I'm really looking at a 2000 civic si. I'm new to the Honda and turbo scene so any and all info is appreciated!

I just need some guidance and advice on this and what to look for. This I no 79 Camaro or a diesel truck, so I'm somewhat lost lol

This is what I'm looking at....

2000 civic si
Brand new clutch
Underneath is under coated
70k miles
B16
3431e turbo
Freddy blow off tial waste gate
Tuned at 10lbs of boost
Supposed to make 280whp

Does this sound like a good setup?

My goal is to run this, buy a b16 block, do a total build from block up and hit 500 whp and add nos.

that turbo should allow you make more power if its the .63 and not the .48 model
why do you want 500 hp though? 300 to mid 300's is more than enough for the streets
if you plan on buying a new block to build buy a b18a or b18b block which will give you way more torque than the b16

..and if you do make it to 500 hp, why the need for nos?

Ok thanks for the info.

And to answer your question....I've never experimented with nos, so I might try it on this setup. And why not? Lol go big or go home

that intercooler mounting has to be a sure fix, but then if the owner crapped out on a simple intercooler mounting, you never know what else he crapped out on.
