NICEEEEEE! So you like them? And you're gonna be rocking legit bbs's?

:D

I like them

I really do like them. And ive never seen them on a bagged truck before either so win win :what:

And yes legit bbs ONCE the truck is done. Theyre $6500 without tires...

LOL! you're crazy man. thought you didn't like knock offs.
I absolutely hate knockoffs. But im not trying to pass these off as real.

The way i see it is like this:
The truck doesnt move. It doesnt run. It never gets driven so i dont have to worry about rim failure.

I was worried i wasnt going to like the look of them on the truck but absolutely love these style of rims(always have even in my ricer days).

So i bought knockoffs. End of the world? No. But didnt see the need for real bbs for a vehicle that doesnt move :what:

Great story about the UPS guy. Oh and rims look good too
Thanks brotha man!

Nice update!
:like:

Rims look sick man, nice choice.
Thank you. A lot of thought went into this decision.

I realize theyre played out in the import world but never seen them in a bagged truck.

Keeping with the rx7 theme if you know what i mean...

hell yeah. those wheels look dope tucked up in there.
Theyll be even more tucked with tires!

might as well order the real ones...those are awesome!
Ill start taking donations starting..... Now!

lol order real ones "the ones that are more than your civic.... each" just "that easy" btw good thing you got that big boy truck too ;) hauled the rims home!
I make pretty decent money, but one dies not just order 18" bbs rs without a bit of saving first. Plus i still have an engine to pay for...

Yup i love my mega cab =)

Awesome!!! Those rims look sick, they really set the truck off!!!

I thought stretching was for homos! :rolf: :rolf: :rolf:
Fixed for you.

And stretching is for homos. Turns out im the biggest homo of all :what:
You will find i will do a lot of things i say i hate because its not a honda and i could give a f*** less what anyone thinks.

Im not going for a stanced look, so when i have a small stretch on the tires it will be for functionality of the suspension travel to clear wider wheels than normal.

Im not gonna have a crazy hellaflush stretched tire on there. 205/40/18 is what ill be running front and rear :thumbs up

The rims look bad ass!
Much abliged. It was between these and ccw classics...

I actually really like the rims.
Thanks. And thanks for checking in on the build!

Holy s*** i wish tapatalk had a multiquote for iphones...

Thats a good point. Greg had pointed me in that direction as well as that wheel maker in the UK and i guess i kinda spaced out about it.

Rotiforms are definitely an option for the end product! Plus i wouldnt mind having a few sets of wheels to run. You see so many trucks that are built around one set of rims. I would like to be able to change them out whenever i want.

i don't mind knockoffs. i've never even own aftermarket wheels, just had/have a couple oem honda wheels.

is there a differezia fom Knock off and Replica? or that pretty much the same thing.

the nice thing is you can literally tell them size, width, offset and if you want exposed hardware... and they build exactly what you want. they arent too expensive considering.

Can't decide on what to order or don't want to spend the money?

Kind of both. I alotted myself a certain amount from my taxes to spend on the truck but am having a hard time pulling the trigger...

And the steering wheel i want is almost $400. I realize its rare and cool but its a f**king steering wheel. And i still have to buy a hub adapter and quick release or the flip up dealio. Whichever i decide isnt cheap either. Tires arent too bad, but i still think theyre overpriced.

And i need to put in another order with summit and wanted to order some gauges also but am up in the air on them also...

Decisions decisions. Summer is right around the corner and i wanna have parts waiting ready to be installed so i can have this truck running by july.

I say steering components first. They are more important to the build than tires. Plus it gives you something to work on when the parts come in.
