Yeah I know they're not cheap. Looking at around 1200-1600 for the ones I want. Can't decide on the Hp rating I want if I get it.

Worked on the coupe today and been looking for jobs. This is not going well.

So the block is fine?

Yeah. It's weird. It looks like a previous rod was thrown into the base of the cylinder, but it's not any of the rods on the crank currently. There's no evidence on the rods. And one of the rods is unlike the others, which is the one that spun. So this block has had some s**t done prior to me purchasing it. But it's low enough on the cylinder that the piston doesn't even reach it, it's harmless at this point.

So my plan now, is to just OEM rebuild this to get me going. Get another GSR/LS block and build that as my "fast" motor on the side. And at some point get a goddamned daily driver.
