So I could potentially be an idiot.... I was hanging out with my best friend over the weekend and her housemate had her son over and they were up pretty late watching TV in the basement (where we usually hang out). My friend said let's just go upstairs and watch TV in her room. Eventually the housemate and son go to bed and offered us the basement back but my friend said we were fine. We ended up just watching TV and talking until like 4am.
Here's the thing.... We've never hooked up. Not even kissed. We've been close friends for nearly 9 years. Hell, I've never been with any other girl other than my ex (and she's also best friends with my ex). Yes, I have weird morals and standards that prevent me from randomly hooking up with girls unless I'm in a relationship with them. I'm one of those very rare guys. I told her I had feelings for her last year and I got nothing from her end so that was the end of it. We've been friends for so long, I just feel completely comfortable around her and don't really think of her like that. The day after, I started thinking about it and was like, "f***...was I supposed to make a move?" lol. I suck at reading signs.

1 you gotta hook up with girls outside of relationships. like seriously. f**k "morals" you have no confidence cant get rejected if you dont ask right? be a man deep d**k that hoe. probably dont have a chance with this friend, based on the fact that she is such good friends with your ex, she already knows how bad you are in bed, how shitty you are at eating pussy, and how bad your farts stink. you need to move on past this broad. find some random and beat the biscuit with her. if she wanted to bone, she would have already jumped your s**t. she has no interest. sorry to be the d**k here.

it's not rare either that guys don't like hooking up with random girls unless you're on the cast of jersey shore. it is rare that you can be close friends with a girl for almost 10 years and then start dating though.

you can ask crash's opinion what takes more skill with girls. having a girl friend for that many years or hooking up with random sluts. if that's what you want then you don't really need to worry about your personality much anyways.

But the girls that do that I know better then to have a relationship with them because they are too easy (probably stating the obvious). Can't make a hoe a housewife as some people like to say.
John you need to get out there and date different girls and hookup with different girls. It will allow you to gain more experience talking to women and you will begin to become more comfortable around them. Before I met my gf i would date 2 or 3 at a time until i found the one that i liked and was right for me. Notice i said DATE not GIRLFRIEND. Dating is different. Even hooking up with girls is good practice. You can help to gain confidence making a move, taking her bra off with one hand, finding that g spot, etc. I know some girls say sex isnt everything but they all want a man who can please them. Even if you don't feel comfortable doing that just go out to the bar or something and practice striking up friendly conversations with girls, as if you would with a buddy or something. That will boost your confidence quicker and get you going. Then when the time comes where you spot that one that catches your eye you'll be ready.

I didn't hook-up with random guys (maybe it's different for you guys), granted I wouldn't mind sleeping with someone without being in a relationship. As long as there was interest I would. But I dated a lot, not getting in relationships, but just going to dinner or a movie once or twice or just hang out. Then I could figure out what I wanted and what I didn't.
