would you show a Pic. of the flat bar that you use to pull the fender with? I would think if it's to small it would
put a crease in the fenders at each end of the flat bar? i may be wrong about this.

And Hecz Thank You for the Good Questions. ;)

The metal piece i used is actually a coilover spanner. It's not like you need something fancy, and if you think you do just buy a fender roller. I used what i did because i didn't want to waste money (i was being a cheap ass). With everything i used i could have creased the fenders or ruined the body, i was just smart about it and took my time. I didn't do anything special. It's actually one of the oldest and most primitive ways to go about it

EX COUPE 98, I think I remember seeing a fender roller as one of the tools available on a loan basis last time I was at O'Reilly. If you're looking to do it, I suggest looking into using one of them, and have a buddy help you out with the heat gun. It can be done just like Child did, but he said himself he took a chance of creasing or ruining the panels. If the appropriate tool is free, might as well use it.

NP, Child's a very knowledgeable person so i figured to ask a few questions here and there.

What would be the point of a little lip and rolling....
.
idk really. maybe the rolling process would be easier since there's material to roll.

so you've done this to all your cars?

. Didnt think to record myself banging on a civic for a couple hours.

The fender roller tools are not recommended for rolling the rear quarters where the metal is doubled because its too thick. Just get a wooden baseball bat and do it that way, its cheaper and it works well bc its a rounded end.

Using a fender roller will make it easier on the front fenders but you can still easily screw them up by making too big of an adjustment before you roll the tool back and forth. Plus keeping the paint soft with heat is hard since it's must be pretty warm but not too hot at the same time. The rears would be tough since they are thicker and would mess up the tool.

the last three yes, and the same way each time. Having a cut edge makes it harder to get it to roll (fold) flat. A short edge decreases the leverage you have to bend it.

The baseball bat trick is tough to pull off. Sure it's round, but it's big and tends to move the metal too far out and leaves people with a big unnecessary gap.

ive done both rolling and cutting for the rears, didnt have issues with either. cutting i find to work very well but you have to be extremely careful and it takes a lot of work after the initial cutting since you have to cut the edge dulled down. but it does work if you need a lot of room. also you can pull fenders and quarter panels with a phonebook

and fender rollers are gods gift if you know what you are doing

Awesome! Thanks for checking it out. I should be getting a call from Hybrid-Racing in a week or so for a throttle body. The pace is slowly picking up for me. I may stop and grab a set of wheels but i'm not sure yet.

What happened to the Works? I probably missed it.
like above, i just want another set that I'm not so worried about messing up since i had to play the waiting game for the works and get a couple of special Tdisk versions for the bbk. Im honestly not sure if i want a cheap bbk friendly wheel, or another fancy set. Im tempted to grab a cheap set of wheels because i have a few potential buyers for enkeis which would offset the price.

get a mid price wheel so you still have quality and looks but when you get a nick on the lip or anything you wont want to cry
