^true. they function independently. The jdm ones can be on at any time.
I'd imagine the ek to be different though.
I received another package I ordered today. They aren't the most expensive piece on the car, but I like how they look. I have an identical style on my daily hatch. They aren't junky even though they are an ebay piece.

No the jdm tail lights are similar to the usdm ones. I just like the way these look better. As to how they hold up, I've had a set of them on my hatch for about 5 years and they still look the same.

yeah. The JDM ones DO look just like the USDM, just without the reflector in the side (and MAYBE a little darker in color). That's one of the reasons I never changed to the JDM tails (plus, my stock tails worked perfectly fine)
I'm thinking it's just the reflector not being in there. They are the same color. My USDM ones look pretty good, but the clear/red has a better look on white without the orange.
I agree. on a white/lighter car, would look good. Not so much on a darker car, though. Darker car, I think the OEM would look better

I'm bringing it back. I've been working on other cars but now I think this car's time is finally rolling around. The buying spree has commenced and the parts will show up soon. Maybe I'll have some pictures in the near future.
