1-1.5 hours of a commute isn't bad. I know people that commute longer on a daily basis per trip. You gotta do what you gotta do. If it's a good investment for your future, I'd say go for it. You could always look for a new job down the road if it ends up turning out that s***ty.

I decided to take my current job that doesn't pay all that well only because it's a pretty much guaranteed life time secured job unless I do something really bad. Plenty of people that have been with this company since it started over 40 years ago. I could've worked elsewhere for greater pay but job security wise, not much comes close to this. Gotta think about your future.
Job security means nothing if you're stuck at menial, s**t pay. Who cares if you can be there forever, if you're never going to make real money? Live a little bit. You will never know true reward/success without taking risks.

Yesterday I got a P0132 code, and I think I'm supposed to be replacing my secondary o2 sensor. One of my friends told me it could be my cat that's gone.
That was the code my car threw when my Cat and O2 went out!

Plenty of room for growth in my company. Guaranteed raises every year on top of merit raises. Our store executive chef started out at my exact position. I don't have to stay in the culinary field either. I can go wherever I want whether it be in-store or corporate. I absolutely love my job.

Crash you should be happy, not nervous! Have you considered moving for the job? If you get the job you might be able to negotiate for them to compensate you for moving expenses...

Part I???

What the f*** is with this weather.... It was 60º 2 tuesdays ago, sunny, warm even for most of the week, and now it's 16º. At least the sun is out...

I was going to put on the new wheels I just bought to see how they look but it's cold as fark... And 2 tires have the cords coming through so I'd just have to take them back off... I want a heated garage.... So now I may just sit inside for the rest of the day, watch movies, and play WoW until my eyes fall out. Yay for having no life!!
It was 0* celisus (Freezing temp) here in Edmonton Alberta last night. We still have snow on the ground.
!

I am getting my taxes done in 2 hours

In that case, good! If there's ample room for growth, and you like it, then looks like you're set!

One of the (few) remaining reasons I love Southern California: AMAZING Mexican food.

LA is fun to visit. I would hate to live there. That place is a nightmare with traffic/parking.
Orange County is my favorite area of California, primarily Costa Mesa, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach. My favorite beach is Manhattan Beach (which, ironically, is in LA County). It's super clean, not very touristy, and always has great weather.

Rowed my boat to and from work nearly stalling it like the other fools that went through the flood waters. I've been through hurricanes when I lived in Florida, but this was the worst experience I've ever had with flooding.

Vacation in one more day!!!!!!! =)

I started looking at car parts again... Ugh. Rear disc swap, new bushings, some chassis bracing... I have the money but I know I shouldn't. I'm so glad I'm SO much more disciplined when it comes to spending money compared to how I used to be lol.

I'll be working on my car on my day off tomorrow. Gotta change the oil and filter, check fluids and belts, maybe change the transmission fluid if I'm feeling up to it, check tune-up stuff, check bushings, paint my drums black again (icky rust s**t), possibly paint my calipers black too to cover up all the rust, I MIGHT replace my front rotors and pads if funds allow (it's been a couple years since I've touched my brakes....lol), try to fix my passenger cut-off, paint my wiper arms black (flaking off), and try the t-tap handle wrench on my broken hood release cable. Lot's to do!

Catching up on the Boston deal, figured they would have suicided themselves by now but apparently one is still out there.

Ugh, it's too early to go into work today :(
