Its tubbed. As in tubbing a rear end or tubbing a firewall to fit bigger tires. Drag racers have been doing it forever to fit big meats.I really don't want to sound like an ass, just want to make sure I'm pronouncing this right. But when you say tubbed, are you saying it like tub as in bath tub? Or tube, as in inter-tube?
And what does it mean?

Basically when my truck lays out the tires will hit the firewall, so you tub the furewall to clear the wheels. Its like creating a bath tub for the wheels to sit in. Heres a couple examples.
This is my buddies truck on 22's. needless to say-- these are huge tubs.
