Hey guys,

I'm brand new here. Just bought a 96 Civic CX Hatchback... mileage is a bit on the high side... (300,000 miles) but wanted a cool little car to work on.

It runs well and no abnormalities (as in it drives properly). Any advice on what to replace/check for specifically other than timing belt and water pump?

PS: I'm pretty new to this so be gentle ;)

'96 civic dx 194,xxx most of the issues I've seen with civics tend to be electrical rather than mechanical. the basics, plugs, wires, dizzy parts(specifically icm and ignitor), and random sensors and stuff. good luck

:welcome:

check all your belts, fluids, brakes, anything that typically can wear out.
