Depends on your motor/setup an where it makes power

2500 Rpms, then the same in 2nd, 3rd... Then red light. Repeat.
He said when flooring it..

I shift close to redline in every gear if I'm flooring it.

Why would you not take the car up to redline when flooring it? Otherwise, there is no reason to floor it? Question makes no sense.

BC you actually start to lose power at that point. This is all dependent upon the motor too.

OP this is an extremely vague question. While it's under 6 gen, you need to stipulate what motor you're running and if you have the correct cluster for it too. I'm a prime example. While I have a DX chasis, I do not have a dx motor or cluster. ;)

I am sure if he is asking this question, the car is stock, and he has never been on a dyno to show him this information ;)

Stock Gs-R, I shift at 8k when I'm racing. It's not just about where you shift, but also where your rpms end up. It's a trade off. We may stop making power at 7,700 rpms +/-, but we're still making more than when we shift and drop to 6,100 +/-

I doubt id spin on slicks. Haven't bought them because I don't really race much. Just a car ill take out of the garage for shows and meets. With the occasional race with a "f*cking mustang".

Yee. Those hatches go hard. I'm looking into possibly doing a EgK. A couple of my teammates run k swapped Eg's and they do really well on the track

I remember riding with a friend of mine in his K20 swapped EM1. One problem though, his motor went BOOM as soon as he redline shifted into 3rd.
