I love cleaning up after people. It's even better when they "clean up" their mess and then I have to re-clean the area because they did such a poor job cleaning. Maybe I'm just too anal. Oh well. I don't mind the overtime.

I don't hate my job by any means (I'm my boss. The only one above me is my CEO). It's a medium-sized company with limited growth potential, and it's family owned, so asking for a pay raise would get me laughed at. They're old, and don't understand how an IT department SHOULD be run. Half the time, I have to make do with what I have, because they won't give me funding to get new stuff, won't hire other people to assist etc. That's the kind of s**t I'm sick of. Also, I should be paid a hell of a lot more.

Looking at places again... found this killer place for not that much!

It's crazy to look at these places and think... "yeah I can totally afford that".

Wasn't part of fiskers demise due to their battery supplier , A123 Systems, going out of business? I read that Tesla also used the same supplier. Is this true or did they switch suppliers?

I find that hard to believe... I don't think any OEMs produce their own HV batteries.

From what I understand, they have other manufacturers supply some components, and build/assemble everything else in house.

Well I know that A123 and Panasonic are different. I thought I read somewhere that A123 systems was to be a potential Tesla supplier, maybe I was wrong.
I did some further reading and you're right - I did not know Tesla assembled the HV packs in house that's pretty cool.

Nope as far as I know we're sticking to Panasonic.
