God... this girl on this Buy/Sell/Trade page on Facebook is such white trash and I want to say something.....

Having a Kelly moment
You should see the s**t that's posted on my local Buy/Sell/Trade Facebook page. I had to stop following the local information page.. too many ghetto people fighting over Facebook, that don't even know each other.

^^ I like that "Kelly moment"

I live with my girlfriend and her parents, and pay all of my own bills. I don't pay power and water but I do pay half of the cable bill. I pay for all of mine and my girlfriends food, clothes, etc. all the way down to toothpaste lol. The ONLY reason we're not out on our own is because I don't make quite enough money.

Oh I totally did earlier. Some kid kept correcting me (and only me) when I said "motor" instead of "engine". I was being a HUGE b***h.

Apparently a motor is strictly electric. Yes, that's what you call electric powertrains. But motor also can be a combustion engine. Its more slang for engine, but works just the same.

Yep. If only I could figure out what I want to do.
That's always hard. When I got let go from my last dealer I was freaking out because I was trying to get out of automotive but had no idea where to go...

Yeah I'm in the culinary industry currently, in management. I'm pretty sure I want to do something different, just not sure what.

Have you tried being like a server or cook for a more "high end" restaurant or something? I'm not knowledgeable in the culinary industry.

Yeah... that's not the best mentality...
Oh man...walk away walk away walk away Kelly just walk away from it!!!!

Dude, don't chill for the free ride. Get out, and become your own person. You'll feel better.
It's alright I'm just waiting until I get enough money to move out. I have thought about an apartment, but it seems renting a home is cheaper. I need people to move out with me because 9.50 an hour ain't cutting it. How hard is it to get a lease with no credit? I imagine it to be pretty hard.

I wish I could live with my parents right now. I'd be living fat! My $2250 I pay for rent could go to a Lamborghini Murcielago which would bring me so much more joy than this little shack of a house i'm living in now :(

Apparently it's really hard. I haven't attempted it yet.

I got a lease at 20 with next to 0 credit

3x the rent worth of income
And 12 months of employment add points in your favor

I got turned down by one place and approved with flying colors at the 2nd one lol

I think I'll have to save up about 2-3k to move out, and hopefully I can get a lease in the next 2 years.

If you're not making enough money to pay the bills consistently, then you shouldn't move out.

I haven't, but I know what it entails, and I'm just not too fond of it.

It can be hard if you don't have credit. If you have long-term employment, good standing credit history, and a good debt-to-income ratio, it's not bad.

Bingo. Also, don't forget about deposit + first month's rent. It cost me $3500 to move into my house, not including purchasing furniture, new toys etc. It's expensive, but if you prepare you'll be good to go.

you will want way more than that. I wish that's all I needed, I need about 40-60k

but I realized today the credit union I'm part of my work actually owns, so that helps
