With enough beer, it can be done.
Ive been trying to stay away from beer during garage time. Sometimes its a distraction. One or two is good to get comfortable and keep the shakes down while cutting and welding though.

So ive been doing lots of thinking and not much work to the truck.

I figure i need to chill the f**k out. I made a list and it freaked me out, so i got rid of half of the list.

Im pretty confident the truck will make the show but wont be anywhere close to where i wanted it. It should be interesting. Thank God for the holiday week so i can have some time to spend in the garage and to spend with the family.

So to whoever cares about the problems i am having and how to fix them i am going to tell you this-- you can never have too much bracing and gussets.

One of the problems i was having was that when i put air to the rear bags they wanted to flop sideways on me. The reason being is that the new "arms i built for the rear werent connected so there would always be movement.

So i cut two pieces of tubing to tie each bar together and now the rear is solid. Overlooking small things like this are almost the death of me.

But i never give up and im not letting this truck beat me!

when building things from scratch, you will usually encounter dumb issues. just the nature of the beast!

Well i really didnt get all the issues worked out. The front still isnt right but i have some ideas when i get back.

As of right now i think the truck will go on a trailer but im not happy with how it sits.

Should be an interesting trip.
