I'm looking to get some exhaust for my 1994 Honda Civic DX 2 Door Coupe. I'm not trying to go with something too expensive, just something that looks good and sounds good ALSO not too big

SUGGEST ANYTHING YOU THINK WOULD BE BETTER.

Here is the first exhaust I've found

http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-95-HONDA-CIVIC-2-4-DOOR-EX-DX-LX-96-00-CIVIC-EX-CATBACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-/300919086270?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year:1994|Make:Honda|Model:Civic&hash=item46102cdcbe&vxp=mtr

Second exhaust.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CIVIC-92-95-DX-LX-2-4DR-96-00-EX-CATBACK-EXHAUST-MUFFLER-SYSTEM-/271237690171?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year:1994|Make:Honda|Model:Civic&hash=item3f2706b33b&vxp=mtr

Any of you vouch for these exhausts/ companies.

Also I wanted to get some smoked out corner lights and I've found these..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1992-1995-HONDA-CIVIC-4DR-SEDAN-SMOKE-AMBER-CORNER-TURN-SIGNAL-LIGHTS-/380618540614?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year:1994|Make:Honda|Model:Civic&hash=item589ea20646&vxp=mtr

What do you guys think?! any different suggestions.

To be honest, it's all Chinese junk. Almost all the stuff from K2 motor is the lowest quality stuff you can get. The old monicker is very true when dealing with this stuff. You get what you pay for. You pay cheap, you get cheap.

I would suggest something name brand when dealing with exhaust. I speak from experience with this cheap ass exhaust. I did that with my first civic and it blew out within a year and it sounded absolutely terrible.

I personally took the inexpensive route of installing a used muffler from a '02 RSX Type-S and Ive been satisfied. Perhaps you could research around for a used exhaust from another sporty vehicle. You'd save money & get a better quality product. My exhaust had no rust so I cleaned it up, painted it black & polished the tip. I think it looks great too.

those $100 eBay exhausts are junk.

Go on youtube and hear for yourself and determine what you like. My preference is Apexi WS2, or stock. ;) Yonaka makes a knockoff of the WS2 if you cant swing the $550 price tag on the WS2

I did not since my engine is mostly kept stock. I did swap in a MagnaFlow one-piece header/cat. Full catback systems are only beneficial if you have a modified engine. Extra outflow on a stock can actually reduce performance. If youre on a budget then focus on your engine first before considering heavy exhaust upgrades. Fyi, if you dont plan to heavily upgrade the engine then keep the stock pipes & swap the muffler.

Yeah my civic is 100% stock as in engine work. should I just go with a muffler from the piping? I'm not planning any engine mods or swaps.

5th and 6th Gen Civics are similar, both in dimensions and mechanically. The exhaust will look a little different, but will sound almost identical.

Like the other's said, don't cheap out. Apexi WS2 is hands down my favorite. Yonaka does make a cheaper replica, which sounds pretty close to the WS2, but I've heard that after 2 years or so, it starts to sound louder and such....you get what you pay for.

RSX-S, '06+ Civic Si, and EP3 Si mufflers are all nice sounding OEM options that you can get.

So i can either go with full stock piping etc and just get aftermarket Muffler for a good sound and looks.

Stock engine and all exhaust so not looking for too expensive exhaust. I guess I'll look around.

Sounding good is relative to each person. What sounds good to you might sound like complete crap to one of us. My suggestion would be to get on YouTube and search for that muffler and your car model. Only you can determine what is going to sound good to you.

Agreed. Thats what I did & settled on my selection. I agree with the other user who stated 5th & 6th gen engines wont sound heavily different, so spend some time on YouTube listening to any sporty OEM 4-cylinder or small V6's, search through eBay & Craigslist and you might come across an appealing deal. Also, A quick search showed a couple of used quality name brand mufflers for under $80 on eBay.

I wouldnt go Yonaka because many have shared the same complaint that after 1-2 years they begin to rust out heavily. Theres a reason theyre inexpensive. I personally dont feel comfortable throwing out money after 2 years or so.

Doesn't matter you can take to any muffler shop and they'll make it fit.
Thats what I did. All in all purchasing & installing my muffler cost around $150.

Guess I'll look around a bit more.. nothing on craigslist yet.. I'll just buy the muffler and get it welded on.
