Car dying while driving at times

Hey guys so I have a '96 Honda Civic and there has been some issues lately at first when i got the car everything was stock and it still is but I was driving one day and happen to hit a bump and the engine light decides to go on also the speedometer decided to not work anymore so that is one of the issue.

So far there is the engine light which idk what it is. Second is the speedometer which isn't working right at the time it would jump to 120mph and go all over the place. So I my brother looked at it and said it might be a loose wire, grounding, or the alternator so i tried to fix the grounding didn't work I tried to switch the alternator still didn't work but i took it to a mechanic he said it might be a electrical issue so he apparently said it fixed it but now the issue is that the speedometer doesn't work at all and now whenever I turn on my AC the car seems like it gets drained of battery life and wants to die. The lights start to dim and it starts to choke in a sense and stall out.

Also whenever my AC is on and I step on the gas my ac compressor starts to click and stop whenever i rev up the car.

Sorry for the long post but I have a lot of issues with this car sadly. Thank you in advance.

Have the battery tested.

Check fuse 15 and the fuse 15 TSB in my signature.

Click the Codes link in my signature to learn how to pull the codes with a piece of wire.

My 98 Honda Civic did the same thing. It began to progress with stalling to crank. I eventually find out my head gasket was blown and water was mixing with my oil.

hey guys sorry been a little busy and thanks for the replies. I actually did check the fuse box and i switch it out with a new fuse and my speedometer works now. Also I looked into getting one of those ELM 327 bluetooth enging light readers and i just tested it out. I will post the results at the bottom. But something weird happened as I was driving the other day and the battery light would flicker sometimes and then it would stop not sure what was going on but it only happened for a little bit. I have yet to get my battery checked btw.

Here are the results

Current Fault Log
------------------
P0500: Vehicle Speed Sensor
P1298: [Honda] Electrical Load Detector Circuit High Input

P0135: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

This^ usually indicates that the alternator is bad.

Reset the ECU to clear the codes and to see whether any of these codes return. If so, check fuse 15 again to see if it's blown and click the Fuse 15 TSB in my signature.

Slap the dash, tell that b***h to straighten up and fly right. Usually works.

I just switched it out with a brand new alternator tho o.0? does that sound weird?

I will try to do that now thanks
