What would you pay for this motor?

Need a new one, what would you guys pay for just the motor? No trans. He's asking 1k for everything. I've never swapped a motor, and I don't know much about the price of these things

To much can pull one from junk yard buy parts to rebuild it how you want it for about the same if not less

Well I'm just looking for a quick fix, I need a motor asap, just something reliable until later when I get a better job for a better swap or sell the car. My motor is pretty rough. I might wait and try to find a z6.

And the price is 1k for the complete swap. All I need is a motor

5 speed manual D trans in my area typically go for around $300-400. Consider that when wondering about a long blocks value. I guess really... It's what ever you two can work out and you feel good about in the end. I would say $500 is a steal. $700 is max.... For me anyway.
