I got to experience something ever Honda enthusiast dream about. I was at a gas station in Bridgeport, CT filling up and a REAL EK9 pulled in. At first I'm thinking its a really well built replica until I walked up to it. My jaw hit the f**king floor. The owner let me get in it and everything. And this was at about 12:30am this morning eastern time. I'm so pumped to get back into building the car after this.

That is f**king GRAND! You're lucky as hell. Even cooler that the guy let you sit in the drivers seat.

Gotta love the car community sometimes

I still can't believe it. What are the odds of that happening. The owner was very cool and he answered every question I had. The car is registered in Florida due to strict laws here in the northeast. Bro I can't explain the experience in words.

It's definitely something you don't see everyday. I'm excited to attend Honda day next weekend to see the Spoon EK9 that's coming all the way from Japan.

That is so f**king cool. I wish I had the opportunity to see one of those even get to sit in it IRL.

I know they have more then one. Over the years I'm sure they have gone through and run across dozens.

I'm also tempted to go to Honda day now but I went in April and really can't afford the drive.

I'm pushing my luck going. My car needs some maintenance but I'm going to wing it anyway.

That why I need to stay put before leaving for school. Gotta get dizzy cap and rotor, wires, air filter, and do an oil change so I'm trying not to drive far. I would love to go though.

I need new tie rods, ball joints, wheel studs, wheel bearings, tire balancing etc. I just haven't gotten the chance to do it.

I might go to the cupcake meet in Corpus which is a 2 hour drive next weekend, but I still have some maintenance to do. I have a coolant leaking issue which is due to a shitty autozone cap, but I ordered an OEM cap to see if that would fix it. So I'm taking a gamble, but if that doesn't fix it I might resurface the spot where the cap and radiator meet. I also need to recharge my a/c because mine only blows kinda cold.

Yea it sucks but needs to be done regardless. I'm really pumped to get back into thing with the coupe I just have to get my funds back up. I'm stating to regret selling the k series. I don't really have any motivation to finish the b series honestly but I may still throw it in. My favorite build of all time is Marc-111 2000 Ex coupe. It has and always will be inspiration for me as far as building a Honda goes.

So I'm debating if I should spend money on the cars appearance first or finish the motor? I can't decide and with winter right around the corner I don't know which one to choose.

work on the looks. You have a motor that works, so the engine build can wait.
