What is Taro? I've never heard of it.
I wondered the same thing. Ive never heard of that until this post. Thanks to Google, I read its a derivative from an asian plant thats apparently sweet. What is Taro? I've never heard of it.
KFC is bigger than McD here. I guess McD wanted a piece of the pie on fried chicken.Perhaps McDonalds took a page out of KFCs book and started engineering their own multi-limbed chickens in regional areas. For the unaware, a few years back KFC briefly advertised they used 100% real chicken. Those advertisements lasted maybe 2 months before the government told them to pull the advertisements because they were untrue due to their genetically altered chickens. So just because they have a bone doesnt mean theyre not from mutant chickens.
A quick search didnt come up with any legitimate pictures, but the rumors have been around for years. It seems KFC is successful at preventing anyone from taking & releasing any internal photos. Im certain whatever their breeding secrets may be are awful.KFC is bigger than McD here. I guess McD wanted a piece of the pie on fried chicken.
you got any pics of them mutant chickens?
reading about mutant chickens made me want to barf now
You should watch "Food Inc". After watching that I couldn't eat meat for 2 days then I got over it.KFC is bigger than McD here. I guess McD wanted a piece of the pie on fried chicken.

Ahh.. I do like Arby's. and I did eat Wendy's the other day.I dont like mcdonald much, but i dig burger king and carls jr and arbys.
This man knows what's upHmmmm... It's funny. If put under the same environment a homemade hamburger won't rot either. This was proven years ago.
No real meat? So you are trying to tell us that a multi-billion dollar a year company like mcdonalds is lying about not being real beef? Even with USDA regulations? Get out of here. I would bet a guess that it would be ill-advised as it would destroy their rep if it was "really" proven wrong.
I am in no way defending them on a love basis. I hate fast food. To me it is a waste of money and is usually disgusting. I have barely ever been satisfied with a fast food meal when done. Especially from McDonalds. There is something wrong to me with something like that when you can get it in mere seconds. I am just saying that I have read and seen most of the stuff about them and have yet to see it really proven by a truly reputable source. Rumors aren't a credible source.
I am more worried about the notoriously bad handling practices that are present in chain fast food establishments. I prefer local non-fast food chain burger joints. We have a couple here that are amazing. Every time I have eaten at one of these I have been satisfied. Good food, great owners, staff that isn't 99% highschool kids that don't even want to be there and are paid enough to actually care about the customers and the cleanliness of the place.
I worked at KFC and I hated it so much.I worked at taco bell in high school. It was clean and the food was fresh and seemed legit from what i can remember.
Not mcds, but just throwing that out there
There are some that are managed really well but the high majority of them are poorly maintained because they are run by people that don't get paid enough to care or have franchise mini owners that pinch pennies to save money.I worked at taco bell in high school. Im glad i read that while im at burger king with my daughter
No, McDonalds is not lying about their food. But they do not advertise as using real meat absolutely anywhere. They dont even use real cheese. If you pay close attention to their advertising, they use such catch phrases as "real flavor" in place of real ingredients. Even using slang allows them to state something they know the average person will misconstrue as what they think they mean. Selective wording is how these companies get away with alot. So yes, they have built a multi-billion dollar franchise by successfully lying and misleading their patrons. No real meat? So you are trying to tell us that a multi-billion dollar a year company like mcdonalds is lying about not being real beef? Even with USDA regulations? Get out of here.
They have been proven already but the multi-billion dollar franchise can afford to pay their way to keep the big whistle blowers quiet. If you seriously think these major companies are ran legitimately & ethically, then you're living in denial. The days of real food at a drive-thru died in the 1960's. You pay the right people in the government and they stay quiet. That's todays corporate America. My example of the FDA & GNC is proof of it.I would bet a guess that it would be ill-advised as it would destroy their rep if it was "really" proven wrong.
