BOOM! Back up in Alaska. Had an awesome time hanging out in the gulf region. Met up with a dude big in the AWD/4WD section of the K20 boards and picked up a K24 AWD trans from him (currently in route to my nest of awesome parts waiting install). I ended up trading my civic wagon before I left for a pretty clean CRX, but only because the wagon I had had too many rust spots which pained me to think about all the money I was about to dump into it with a body in semi rough shape... So, I figure I can build the CRX and sell it much quicker than a wagon and find the new wagon of my dreams for a boosted AWD 6 speed K swap :thumbs up

... That's my dream anyway. I have all the parts (minus boost) now, just need a clean chassis
Glad to have you back, man! Also, I have some pretty big potential news to share. Once I get confirmation, I'll fill you in!

mmmmmmm....how'd the dirt taste?

The Raceline guys are cool, that's where my brother and I get our tires from. Awesome prices.
That was my first thought as well  DIRT SANDWICH.

Idk what I'm doing wrong. s*** just isn't getting dry.

Nvm got it.

Anyways, posted this on instagram. According to Chris and Seth, I have good penmanship. Anyone else agree?
Dude you do! s**t is clean!

My handwriting SUCKS!
I hate writing sloppy. it puts a strain on my hand though.

I have sloppy handwriting Ihave seen better handwriting by elementary school kids lol
Mine is terrible. Some university just released information based on case studies showing that people with sloppy handwriting tend to have higher IQ's. Interesting!

As I mentioned above, I may have some exciting news, but I'm not gonna jynx myself quite yet. Once I get confirmation, you guys will know!

I thought you were driving up a new car? :O

Glad to have you back!
That was plan A until I decided to pull the trigger on another aviation license i've been wanting to get. I figured I could always fly down and pick one up next spring. Figured the license would be more important to have if i'm sending my resume back out come winter time when my 2 year commitment up here expires and I choose not to re-up my contract.

Wb thanks for contacting people when you were in Louisiana
I know I know... My bad. I was only in Lafayette for 4 days and in class 7-4 every day. Before I decided to get the license mentioned above, my plan was to buy the M6 in New Orleans and then hang out in LA for another couple days before heading over to California. Then I went to plan B and took off to Houston ASAP after my AutoCAD training was done on the 4th day. Sorry man! Would have been nice to meet up with some CC guys but that may happen next year any how. Looking at possibly transferring down south and staying with my current company. We'll see though... There's never anything certain in aviation.

Well I bought the text book I need. If this book doesn't teach me anything I'm screwed. Almost 1600 pages, $317.xx for it.

OMGWHAT?!?!? Finally getting a K or even bigger news!? Coming to Alaska to help me instal mine?

Weeelllll I got approved for a Bimmer. Looks like I'll be picking up a 335i in the coming few days (have to wait for loan paperwork to get processed). I'll post pics once I do. This essentially means the civic is going to be sold. I don't have any desire to work on it anymore. Maybe someday down the line I'll do a K-swapped DC2 or EK. We'll see! I'm still gonna stick around the board, though. You guys are rad.

Cleaned out the civic today

I need to clean mine pretty bad haha. Good job!

NOOOOOOOOO!!!! ... but congrats man! What year? Do you have to sell the Civic though for financial reasons or you just don't want to take up space/time with it? Because in the grand scheme of things, an EK or older isn't that much of a financial stress/windfall you know what I mean? Sure, couple K is money in the bank but if you don't HAVE to have it, keep it and stay in the family! :thumbs up

.. My plan with the M6 wasn't ever to keep it but more for a financial gain since I know I could have sold it pretty easily for several thousand more than the $38k I was going to spend. Just wanted to drive it for a yearish and then let it go. I know it would have been tough to sit back in a Civic after driving an OEM 500hp monster with all the bells and whistles... but there's just something about a 90-00 Civic that keeps pulling me back in! I'll probably always have a Civic on hand no matter what else hangs on my key chain

But seriously though, congrats! The E46 I had for a couple months was a blast to drive! It was the only BMW i've owned and what got me thinking Euro flips these last couple months.

EDIT: Did this thread stop counting towards post counts? I've been stuck on 1460 all day I think. Makes sense I guess for post whore reasons but I'm surprised i've never noticed that before.... Anyway...

X2, also yeah they stopped counting them

This heat has turned me away from that swap. Might just leave the Fc alone until fall or winter rolls along :/
