No work due to LDW, so we have a kickball game going on in the backyard + tarps/dish-soap slip-n-slide

Good episodes. Seen them a few times.
Seen the car, haven't seen the build yet. Figured I'd finally catch it.

Sorry for the delay, guys! Had a long weekend.. Well.. I spoke too soon (isn't that always the case?). I got pre-approved for my bimmer, but the bank declined me during under-writing. My credit is still too jacked, even with an A+ credit co-signer. So my goal now, is to pay off the small amount of debt I have left (friggin $400!), save up like $5-8k for a down, and go get my bimmer. If I can do that, I will indeed keep the civic, and make it my toy (boost boost boost!).

NOOOOOOOOO!!!! ... but congrats man! What year? Do you have to sell the Civic though for financial reasons or you just don't want to take up space/time with it? Because in the grand scheme of things, an EK or older isn't that much of a financial stress/windfall you know what I mean? Sure, couple K is money in the bank but if you don't HAVE to have it, keep it and stay in the family! :thumbs up

.. My plan with the M6 wasn't ever to keep it but more for a financial gain since I know I could have sold it pretty easily for several thousand more than the $38k I was going to spend. Just wanted to drive it for a yearish and then let it go. I know it would have been tough to sit back in a Civic after driving an OEM 500hp monster with all the bells and whistles... but there's just something about a 90-00 Civic that keeps pulling me back in! I'll probably always have a Civic on hand no matter what else hangs on my key chain

But seriously though, congrats! The E46 I had for a couple months was a blast to drive! It was the only BMW i've owned and what got me thinking Euro flips these last couple months.

EDIT: Did this thread stop counting towards post counts? I've been stuck on 1460 all day I think. Makes sense I guess for post whore reasons but I'm surprised i've never noticed that before.... Anyway...
Man, I LOVE bimmers. My mom owns a 325i, and a few of my friends have em (a friend just bought an M6, another has an M3, and another has a 335i). I'll likely keep the Civic if I get one now. At first it was a money thing (was gonna use money from the Civic to pay for wheels and possibly a drop on the bimmer), but if I save for a down, it won't be a big deal. It'll be a while, either way :/

Had to leave my car in the shop today. Didn't get finished installing my bushings for the stabilizer bar. Just need to bolt the exhaust up and test how the shifter feels. Gonna need two new dust boots for the shifter as they were both pretty much destroyed in the process.
