Just got the pedals from another car. And thanks for the tip ill do that once I get my new shift knob in the mailYEAHHHHH!!! If you could, would you post a picture of all three pedals? Did you cut the brake pedal or get another one from a stick shift?
And oh yeah, you can either get a shift boot collar for the knob, or you can wrap electrical tape around the stick and bring the boot over it. I've done that on like three of my cars. Works the same and is cheaper
And only you will know it.

Well the motor on the R32 is toast. 2 cylinders won't hold compression over 60PSI. Looking at a $4k bill plus probably. Will find out more on Monday. Thinking about fixing it, selling it, and getting something new.
Was a busy day for me today. I took calls from my mother and brother all day about my brothers car not running right because my dad paid some cut rate half ass mechanic to swap out the motor because he thought my price was too expensive.... and now they're paying for a sub-standard job... doesn't run right, wont idle, check engine light is on, unknown mileage on a junk yard engine and the moron didn't even change the oil and put on a new filter before letting my little brother take it home. For the record, I offered to do the job for him for $2,500 total --- that would have included a motor from a good source, a transmission from a good source, seals, gaskets, clutch, fluids, etc..... he paid $1,800 for just an engine and a half-ass, good-for-nothing grease monkey to put it in.
Then I went out and played with my project car for a while... just got back from driving it around the block... it's finally starting to smooth and start and run normally from all the rotten old gas that was in the tank, although now I've got the idle surging from a bad IAC valve.... just one more thing to fix.

Hey does anyone know any companies, shops, people, etc that do good frame(chassis) work? Im looking for quality ie no bondo work. Perferably places that you have seen or had work with.
