Its more undercarrage work, im thinking about doing some preventative maintenence on it so the frame is a bit stronger. Not looking for any crazy reinforcements at the time but at least revert back to stock with some fresh new metal.

My only assumption would be something with the crank position sensor. Went to leave for work Friday morning, it started for 5 seconds, ran extremely rough and when I gave it gas it died. Wouldn't fire back up. Had it towed to a VW performance shop. Replaced that sensor and the battery distribution block so they could continue troubleshooting more. Called me a few hrs later with that news. I hope to find out more details Monday when I get an estimate.
I've had the car for 5 years and I am just about done with it. While I love it, it is so damn expensive to maintain and fix. Toying with the idea of getting a 2014 Focus ST or WRX.

I know. And their performance is awesome. But I don't know if I want to give up all that performance and AWD. So I'm looking at a WRX (non STI) but price is more than the Focus ST.

It is actually more expensive than the Focus ST. Focus ST was 28k with the leather and all that. WRX Limited is 29k. Comparable features for both packages.

I guess it can depend what area you are from, but near me they go 200-250. 350 is b16/gsr range
Yea in my area, these go for around 300. GSRs are like over 500. The east coast has pretty expensive prices then lol.
