Leaving the Arctic Ocean in the morning. Possibly my last time here. Sad... Hoping to find out I can transfer to the African business unit this week and do 6 week rotating shifts and finally live back in the lower 48 again.

I guess it can depend what area you are from, but near me they go 200-250. 350 is b16/gsr range

dafuq? An LS trans here is like $500 in good condition, GSR/B16 is $800-$1100. I hate how Southern California's rice scene is causing massive inflation...

Mondays are always boring at work. Not much to do today, so I'm listening to The 1975 on Spotify, and dicking around online. Only been here an hour and a half.. it's gonna be a long day...

Going to look at a GSR for my buddy tomorrow, finally might have someone in the area with a Honda fetish besides me. Then again there is another red DA EXCTLY like mine at my school (except mine is a little cleaner). Met the dude a few times and smashed his baby's momma when we worked together, so we're cool.

So far today has been a pretty good day.

Took apart a transfer case, and a ford MTX transaxle and put them back together. Also got most of my lab sheets done. My second class for the day got cancelled so I don't have to get off my butt now. I stopped by the weis down the street after auto class and they scheduled me to work starting tomorrow. The good thing is now I will be getting money. The bad thing is now I'm gonna be busier than ever, and I need to get my car aligned so that'll be a challenged to work around now since I need my car to get back and forth to work. Have a long weekend, so gonna take my toolbox home and replace and bleed my brakes, and hopefully do some other things with the car.

checking out this house and so far so good. needs the work I expected but nothing I can't handle. dads coming to check it out since he is an electrician and his old job dealt with all sorts of stuff. if he says ok ill get inspectors sent out and get serious with the mortgage companies

I'm at the one on third street, and there are a lot of strange characters that go there. If anything, ill tell them I can't keep you with my studies and will resign and look for something else or just save up enough gas money to last me till winter break when I go home to work.

Anyways, schedule my alignment finally for September 23rd. Hopefully it'll be a nice smooth ride after that. I'm hopefully getting the tires balanced. Ive got some bad vibration above 60mph and it actually vibrated my steering wheel nut loose.
