Hell yeah it was a blast watching lsx swapped 240s rip up the drifting coarse then watching 10sec hondas do work and a 73 carolla that ran a 7, i camped near the roadcourse i woke on sunday to the sweet sound of a nasty s2k itr and a k swapped teg battling haha it was raining tho which was cool to see them out there pushing the cars
That's what's up!! I still trip a bit when we run with Grip, Drift, Skid cuz the sound of tires breaking traction is abnormal to me. Lol
But the sounds of all the different cars is what I really like. If you were running drag cars then the circuit cars could run straight through exhaust. We have fairly strict decibel limits here
Yeah the event is for pretty much all imports and newer fuel injected cars i wish i would have taken more videos and pictures but here are some i found that other people took

This is why I shouldn't stay up late listening to Pandora and having a song come on and making me realize that this year will be 12 years since my grandfather passed on the day before my 8th birthday. I can never seem to hold myself together when I think about it. But anyways, on a lighter note I'm doing fairly well in my college classes sorry. That makes me happy.

So I mentioned a couple days ago that my company was shutting down in Alaska. Well, they want me to stay until the very last day because i've been deemed "mission critical". Sounds cool, but the problem is I make most of my yearly pay from over time. Now that we're shutting down, the OT is extremely limited and that totally BLOWS for me. So while they're talking about transferring me with in the company to just about any place I want to go (Rotating shifts into/out of Africa is my top choice), I came across something pretty cool!
You guys may remember I posted a question about Linkedin about a week ago.. Well, since then I've been blowing up Linkedin and now have over 1000 contacts in the Aviation community. I've been asked to submit my resume with several companies and CEO's of smaller jet and helicopter operations. That's pretty cool but the biggest surprise was this morning. In the whirl wind of adding people with any connection to aviation, I added a "talent acquisition" person from Virgin Galactic. She sent me a quick, "thanks for adding me, are you interested in working for VG?" I was like... UHHHH Work on a freakn' spaceship in Southern California when snow and -40 degrees is around the corner in Alaska??? HELL YEAH! (I didn't say exactly that). So I sent my resume and she asked if I could interview today. SWEET! So I did the interview and 30 minutes after the interview, she emailed me back and asked if I could interview with the main hiring boss man (what ever he's called). I was like DOPPPE!! So tomorrow I have a second interview and if that goes well, they'll fly into Los Angeles and then i'll drive out to Mojave for a face to face. I don't want to get over excited ...
BUT I'M FREAKN' LOSE MY MARBLES OVER HERE!
... sorry, just had to tell someone. I don't have many close friends since I move around so much but over the last year you guys have become my homies i've never had
