amen, that school is like a job, plus working after
Yeah. I still have about 60 math questions left out of the 108 due tomorrow. And I have to study for my driveshaft test tomorrow, but that'll be easy. Gonna be a long night when I get off.

Trying to find a way to bring up some s*** at work.

I ran a 16% labor cost yesterday, the best they've ever had in the almost 3 years they've been open.
Now I see our dips***tiest employee milking the clock today, after already catching another one today and resetting his time.
Problem is, this guy is my managers friend or whatever from the past and he feels bad for him...so he can get away with not listening to me, checking out and making comments to girls who are about 30+yrs younger than him, he's homeless, looks it just about, steals, etc.

Trying to find the easiest/nicest way to bring up what he does, without making it sound like I'm attacking him.
I just want to be able to write this guy up and either that will change his ways or 1,2,3 and out the door you go.

BUT, at the same time, I might be up for promotion soon and I don't want anything negative to happen with that because I'm sure he's smart enough to know that as soon as I'm in charge, this guy is gone if he doesn't straighten up by then.

Ugh.

Shot a glock 19 9mm (absolute favorite!), m&p 9mm, ruger 380 (hated it), ruger sr22 (fiancé loved it) and my buddy's .45 not sure what kind of gun, but a hefty kick!
lol, my Ruger SR9c has a much harder kick than our M1911's, wasn't expecting that.

Been wanting to go shooting for a couple weeks now, might have to this weekend. Still have about 600rds to go through up here
Kinda wishing I would've brought my shotgun up here but oh well

I feel like I'm back in college algebra in high school. This reminds me why I hate algebra.

I'm all for structure, too. I have a routine that I follow to the T, but I have to leave myself room to just let go. It let's me know that all the stupid s**t I deal with during the week does NOT control my life.

I don't see you lasting to long if you ever had some dramatic change happen.

Ya but u also dont work 12-18+ hour days...
I do have time to let go. Every night for an hour and on the weekends. I start my Saturday super early but I have the entire day and night as well as Sunday. I also don't have any stupid s**t in my life bc I eliminated those people, and my coworkers are so work driven that there's no time for bullshit.

As for dramatic changes...I've encountered numerous over the decade of my life being like this and I'm doing just fine. It's all in how you prioritize.

And I recall saying I laugh at most who say they don't have time. If I hear their work alone is as long as my routine schedule is...do u think I'd laugh and say they have time?

This is why I don't mod my car anymore. Priorities took over. Trying to drop 65lbs, manage 2 dogs and a relationship, handle my promotion so I can be transferred to salt lake city, and have a small social life is more important than free time all the time. Rob and I do plenty on the weekends but right now we're both focused on more important things.
Besides. ...I know a TON of people with schedules similar to ours.

After working my new full time job for just over a month now, I feel like I almost have too much free time. Might see if my old job would take me back on for a couple days a week.

Just finished showering after having a good variety workout this morning. For some reason all of a sudden I'm feeling sick to my stomach, however.

I get that way sometimes after a hard workout. On Tuesday during my session I thought I was going to vomit. Just stood still for 2 mins and drank water and I was fine.

Are you drinking a lot of water?

I'm not sure what it was but it passed. I didn't eat breakfast and when I woke up I only drank a little and when I got back after I drank two bottles worth. It only lasted for a few minutes until I got up and started walking to my car. I drink like four a five water bottles a night when I'm in my dorm.

I just can't have everything planned out like that for me. It just doesn't work with my lifestyle. My job is mundane and routine as it is, I need spontaneity on the weekends. I may go to Disneyland on Friday, I may go to the beach on Saturday, not sure yet, and I like it that way.

I'm already over this entire week lol. Looking forward to the weekend. It's been a slooowww week. I had a phone interview with a company based about 45 minutes from here. I was missing experience in a crucial piece of software they use (Citrix. Just don't use it here), so it was a no-go. Would have been a massive pay increase, though. I may have to get more experience using Citrix, as I see it a lot now...

Well i think ive decided not to go to work today as i already have well over 40 hours already this week.

Finally a day off...

Gonna try and go get a haircut and then maybe get in the garage. Ive really been into a lot of older music lately. Well not old, but s**t i grew up listening to.

Ive been youtubing videos all morning and drinking coffee lol.

Its been raining pretty much non stop here for a week or so and im sick of it. Finally got netflix hooked up and wifi in the house so been watching a lot if comedy and movies. Also started Breaking Bad from the beginning so that should probably ruin my life pretty well.

Really wanna wash the Dodge but its supposed to rain until Sunday so i guess we will see on thst one...

Maybe cuz it was on an empty tummy and then a lot of water after. I get the sloshy tummy feeling if I drink too much too quick but not nausea.

I have been structured all my life. I'm a planner and very calculated. More calculated now than ever. I guess it gives me more security. I'm a control freak....duh...that's apparent! Lol

If I decide things on a whim it's difficult. I CAN do it but it can be stressful on me at times.

Picked up my K24 AWD trans last night. Shipped it to myself from Houston when I was down there. Not sure when i'll even get around to opening the crate though... I now have everything to build a K24/20 AWD 6 speed "something". I traded my last wagon and now have a CRX but I feel like I'll regret using any of my K parts in it. I want another wagon SOOOOO BADLY! This job situation has my life on a serious choke hold right now!

BTW, my 2nd interview at Virgin Galactic seem to have gone pretty well. I was 1 of 25 people who made it to the second round and if they like me enough, i'll get a flight in to meet them face to face. My current employer Bristow however is planning something for me I believe. I know they want me to stay with the company, but I'm not sure when or where which makes me really nervous (reason my resume is going out).

You guys are getting all of the storms that just passed over us haha.
Oh man, Breaking Bad is glorious. It is a time vampire, though, so be ready for that.

Yeah, see, we are polar opposites. Weird! I enjoy structure, but that bit of chaos is what makes me feel normal.

That sounds about right. I didn't want to get out of bed so I didn't have enough time to eat.

You'll get over that once you're in. I was nervous as hell with my house, but you just have to jump into it.
I'm going to go in before I move and paint my bedroom. Call me high-maintenance but if I'm to live there for a year I CANNOT live in a sterile white apartment room. Yuck.
