Picked up my K24 AWD trans last night. Shipped it to myself from Houston when I was down there. Not sure when i'll even get around to opening the crate though... I now have everything to build a K24/20 AWD 6 speed "something". I traded my last wagon and now have a CRX but I feel like I'll regret using any of my K parts in it. I want another wagon SOOOOO BADLY! This job situation has my life on a serious choke hold right now!

BTW, my 2nd interview at Virgin Galactic seem to have gone pretty well. I was 1 of 25 people who made it to the second round and if they like me enough, i'll get a flight in to meet them face to face. My current employer Bristow however is planning something for me I believe. I know they want me to stay with the company, but I'm not sure when or where which makes me really nervous (reason my resume is going out).
WOO K series AWD wagon!! Nice!
Good luck with the job situation man. Hopefully VG works out for you. That seems to be the most stable.

I'm going to go in before I move and paint my bedroom. Call me high-maintenance but if I'm to live there for a year I CANNOT live in a sterile white apartment room. Yuck.
It's better than having to re-paint your walls when you move out, trust me haha. I considered painting an accent wall in my living room, but we have huge vaulted ceiling. No thanks.

The room is pretty basic. No weird shapes or high ceilings. Plus it can be a fun little project for me.

I'm going to do grey I think. Kelly I need ideas!!
My old roommate wanted to do grey. s**t made me feel depressed. We tend to stick with browns and dark reds and stuff. Fall colors make me feel comfortable I guess. It also makes decor a lot easier haha.

What color and size is the base boarding? Is there any molding? Are there blinds? If so what type and color? What hue of grey? What is the color of ur furniture and bedding? What is the carpet and color? Also what type of doors and color?

What is the overall theme?

I have a dark red in my room now and I hate it. It makes the room almost too yellow. I was almost thinking like a grey/taupe color. My plan is to do black furniture, black bedspread, and I found a local photographer that takes amazing cityscape pictures of Seattle. I asked if I could buy a high-res copy of two of his photos (I'd rather help out someone local), and he is sending them to me at no charge! So I'm going to put those in black and white and make them big, frame them, and hang them above my bed.

Read my most recent post.

Carpet is a light creme (and new!), doors are white, trim and blinds are white but I want curtains. Which will probably be black.

I'm looking for more of a modern, simple look. My current room was COVERED in band posters and weird flags like that.

That driveshaft/cv shaft test was pretty much the easiest test I've ever taken.

What type of door? 6 panel? How tall is the trim? Is it ribbed?

I would suggest Heather grey and a long enough panel to reach ceiling to floor to elongate the ceiling height.

Is ur furniture modern? It won't come together at all if it's not.

Not sure about the door, trim is like the normal like 2.5" tall. Just plain. And my furniture is, except maybe my bed frame but I plan on buying a new one eventually.

And what do you mean "long enough panel"? I lack skills in the interior design department

I havent really found a color scheme that will make me feel like that lol. Its mostly because im always deeply relaxed or anxious, every time i put on a mood ring it either turns black or an incredibly dark blue. It's unbelievable lol. If i were to go with a single color though, it would be Red.

Fixed!^^ lol

Most panels are 72"...standard window length to the floor. How tall are your ceilings? Standard 9'? What I'm saying is get a panel that will literally hang from ceiling to floor to make the room seem higher and cleaner.

Making a headboard like that is very modern yet elegant too. I would suggest white if u do that.

You have any pictures you could post to show an example?

And yeah, just the standard 9' tall ceilings.

Of panels or headboards?
Edit

Don't do the tufted or a textured headboard since u want modern although I think with all the basic straight lines and cold colors a shallow tuft would look great. It'll add just enough pop IMO.

as for the panels. See how the window is normal size but the elongated panels open the room? Trickery!

Not any of my business but any idea why the drapes are sweeping the floor? lol Im just wondering, im not sure if they are purposely placed that way or....

Excuse my curiosity.
Yes they are. It's more for elegance and flare.
