DOING WORK!

Dude. Your parents HAVE to be proud of you. I hope I'm as accomplished as you at your age. Best of luck to you!
Let me be clear here. I fell into this career by dumb luck. I'm only "accomplished" because i'm willing to do things others aren't. I was 21 years old living off dollar store hot dogs back in early 2001 when I decided it was time to grow up. So I joined the military in an "open electronics" career field (scored fairly high in my military career placement test. ASVAB for those who remember high school) which could have put me in basically any job doing any number of things. I got out after my 6 year enlistment as an avionics technician and chose a sequence of jobs that were progressive to a "career". Most guys are not willing to move for a job, but I am. I'll go anywhere, and do anything if it means building my resume. I worked in San Antonio building the newest jumbo jets for Boeing during the summer where it reached 114 degrees to here in Alaska where i've worked in 50 below temps fixing helicopters with a guy standing guard over my shoulder holding a gun on polar bear watch. I do not have a college degree but feel I've earned my degree in the college of hard knocks. I'm just fortunate that my employers have all agreed.

... I will have that paper degree though some day. Mark my words.

This is the old-school way of doing things: actually DOING them rather than depending on years of education and a degree to say you "know" what you're doing, and no real world experience. This is the backbone of what America was built upon: knowing your trade inside and out. It's rare that you see this anymore man.
As much as I appreciate education, it pisses me off that so many employers will jump at some ass wipe kid with no experience and a bachelors in Computer Science, in which he basically studied nothing but Java and C programming, then delved into IT like he was a badass, and drops the ball over and over. Meanwhile, I have 7 years of experience with Systems Administration, database administration, Windows Server/SQL Server experience, web development and coding, programming, network security and administration, and even some web/graphic design, and I get passed over constantly. I'm going back to school myself because there's no way I'll break six figures a year without it. I'm going to put myself in a lot of debt (I don't care whether educational debt is considered "good" debt or not) for it, which makes me even more mad, but what can you do?
Respect for working your ass off to get where you are man. I wish more people were like that!

Seriously. Makes me feel like I'm not doing much.
Right? lol

I love this school.
The Dean of the transportation department held a cookout and car shoe for all the automotive students.

At least you don't have HID's.
Left my lights on one day, and when I came out I had to push start the thing...after having to push it back up the incline about 4 times

Love those things, but always found it douchey when someone put a tag like that on their car.

Then again, I know what it is so I figure "why do that?" vs those who don't know then that tells 'em

Ugh. 18 minutes on hold, and within 45 seconds, I get denied to have an overdraft fee removed even though the last one was exactly a year ago. Smooth move, ex lax.

Got to go for a spin in this...McLaren 12C. Very good customer. Owns a twin turbo R8 and a twin (they are all twin) turbo 997.2.
One of my favorite super cars. I love the new roadster version of it.

On the last mission for GTA 5. It's 1:24am, and I gotta take my girl to work early in the morning, so I'll do this mission before work.

This game is awesome! :D

Doesn't sound like it.
I was reading around and people say they're a good brand and that they're similar to OE. $75 that'll get me low for now doesn't seem too bad. Plus I can always put my stock struts back on if something does happen. And I'm buying from someone I know. I don't know yet. I'm not getting paid till next week and my transfer for work is all screweed up so that's getting in the way of progress on the car.

Well I got my H&R springs with OEM shocks on them for 60$, but I installed the springs on my shocks not the ones that came with the springs. I still don't know man. I heard a lot of bad things with those eBay sleeves. Those make the shock go out faster and when it does the ride is just terrible. I had a friend who bought a del sol and it had eBay sleeves and the thing was bouncy as f**k, but I'm pretty sure the shocks were blown. It's all up to you man.
