how do you remove tape player on civic?

How do you remove the tape player in a 1998 Civic LX?
Its right on top of the cup holders. I've just suspected that I could not insert the cassette tapes into the tape player and it felt like something was blocking but as I looked closely nothing was blocking so im planning to remove it anyone got some directions?
its just the stock cassette player.

96-98 pop out the hazard and rear defroster buttons remove the two screws cover by those take the bottom plastic cover where the cig lighter is off remove four or two screws and wires for climate control and a couple plugs its relatively easy good luck

Wrong place. Its not where the radio is.

Just gotta take center console out. Screws on side. Should be 2 desperate panels. 6 screws in all. If its manual, screw shift knob off etc....then self explanatory from there. Nothing major.
