Those aren't too bad, I had a set way back when they first came out. I always have to wait on my S drives to get brought in. Only took like 3 days for a set to get to a discount tire distributor and two more to my door.

Excited to see this ride put together

I took my rims up to my local tire shop and got them installed today. They didn't scratch them. Good job to the tire dudes I guess. Here's a pic of the tires installed. I'm too lazy to make a mock up pic right now. I've got to go shoot away a lot of money.

So.. When you say shoot away a lot of money, is that an expression or are you actually doing some shooting? Because if it's the latter, pics would be great! :D

Yeah I shot a good bit of skeet and tannerite. Also targets and other crap. Good times. I blew a watermelon and piece of plywood into bits with a pound of tannerite. I finally got to shoot my Benelli M4 and .44 magnum I bought. The shotgun cycles insanely fast. It's already got a round in the chamber before you can think of shooting. In bad news though I bought my lady a Walther p22. It's a tremendous piece of s**t for $400. It's defective crap. Luckily it comes with a warranty.

Well I decided to take everything out of my engine bay. It will look a lot nicer when I'm looking at my engine and cleaning off dirt off of it. Plus the extra new things I'm buying will look a lot more at home in a painted bay also. My friend bought me a new front a rear bumper for my sedan for having to paint his car also. The dealership said there were at least 16 or so rear bumpers showing in the system, but he said that if the front bumper I have isn't the last one they have, then there aren't many more left out there. If that's true then it makes me sad. If it's not the why talk about it if you don't know exactly what you're saying? I mean hell you can still get EF stuff. I'll probably get the rest of my Honda parts soon since they are getting older by the day.
Here's a few pics of the stripping down of my bay.
I cleaned this out of my AC box and my blower motor

Pics of it all taken apart/cleaning it up

Here's a pic of my buddy holding up my rear bumper for a picture.

Nice new front bumper

I LOVE shooting tannerite! Blew up 5lbs and a cooler full of gasoline once. (About six gallons) BIG boom =)

Sorry to hear about the p22. :/

Well today was interesting. I cut my bumper for my fog lights. They fit like a glove. Well it turns out, so does the lip. Well these 2 "sets of gloves" don't jive well together. I'm used to fitting several components together before paint because it's not cool to have to paint things twice. This would have been a paint it twice situation because I had to take a little of the lip away to clear the fog lights in the back, but the fog light covers got what could best be described as "extreme whittling". There is almost nothing below the ring on the lower section of the cover, but it beats cutting a $500 lip to make some fog lights fit even if they are oem. I have one side fitting nicely with what I think is enough clearance with the added thickness of paint.

Well I modified my foglights via a 6" DA and some 80 grid until they slid into place with a little clearance so there's still a gap when it's primed and painted. Here's a pic of the lip and foglights coexisting in their natural environment.

I also went to my local Honda dealer to get a few large parts for my civic. I bought a new hood, left fender, both over door moldings, and a new battery. About $900 later, and that's with a discount, I felt pretty terrible about having to purchase these items because of their price. I knew what it would cost before hand but I wasn't looking forward to it. I did drive my RHD up there though. I wanted to show the parts guy because I said I would a long time ago. They liked the crap out of it. The maintenance director was even like "I wanna see" and he's an old dude with glasses. He was showing it to a mechanic that had just come back from lunch. He even popped the hood and showed him my rear suspension. It made me proud that the Honda guys liked my little Honda so much.

I don't have them yet. They'll be in within a week more than likely. The rhd looks the same as it did lol.

I ordered a few hundred bucks of stuff from Majestic the same day I bought the hood and stuff. It should be here in the near future. I'll get some pics of all s**t stuff when it arrives. Over the past 2 days I cleaned up all the parts I took out of the bay. It makes a big difference with nice and clean plastic vs. old dirty stuff. I also sand blasted a few rusty parts and primed and painted them with SEM trim black. Here are a couple of pics.

Well today was a pretty productive day for the old sedan. I started my day off with going to the bank and getting some coins exchanged for bills and heading to pull-a-part in Birmingham. I found some goodies while I was there. I was actually looking for some parts for my brother's prelude. I needed an instrument cluster and the only body of his prelude didn't have the dash in it. I did manage to find some parts for the old EG though. I bought an extra deck lid, an extra bezel that goes around the cluster, an ex cluster, and a manual p28 ecu. $128 for all 4 sounded like a solid purchase in case I didn't like the spoiler on my car. I'm in a toss up between the vti spoiler, or the flush mount eg9 spoiler. Either way I'll have 2 painted deck lids to swap them out on demand if I don't like the wing and I won't have holes chilling in my deck lid. I'll get pics of my pirate pull-a-part finds tomorrow.

The middle of the day was nice. I went and ate Buffalo Wild Wings and had a great meal. I then drove on down to Motorvations motorsports to pick up my exhaust I had ordered. Apexi WS2, one of the best exhausts on the market for a tolerable sound and quality workmanship.

I also arrived home to find that I had another on my doorstep. It was the Blox adjustable test pipe I ordered a few days ago. I intend to be painting my engine bay this weekend so keep an eye out for progress pics.

Today I make good headway on getting my bay painted. I removed the subframe and all the front suspension, scuffed it down, and masked the body up for paint. I got it ready and will be spraying it tomorrow if all goes well. Here's the progress pics from today.
