Another slow day.

Opened up our Chick-Fil-A finally on Friday, with 2hrs of huge hickups of course.
Open 8a-8p, and by 4p we'd already raked in $7k+...this will be good.

Still stuck in GTA though.

New new, or new to you? Have you considered getting a CPO w/ warranty? Cost is much cheaper and you don't need as much down (usually) to get the best rates.
I want a CPO 335i Coupe in black on black with nav. My co-worker literally bought the exact car I was going to buy. Kind of pissed me off. She's heard me talking about it for months. She didn't seek the car out, though, it just happened. Still.. ugh.. she's getting raped, though, so LOL at her dumbass (her credit is so jacked, she's paying $600/mo for an 08 with 60k miles). I'm on the hunt for one.. thing is, I have to finance through BMW in order to get the interest/payments I want. I don't think a small lot will be able to offer me a loan at my terms.

Yeah they were totally stock. And weirdly enough, I like the 2.0t way more than the vr6. It drives more like my style. If only it came in the awd with the 2.0t. Also that way, I can get a six speed manual. I test drove that and LOVED it.
I know it looks like a grandma car, but I want to go the almost VIP route with it. And TONS of those cars are old lady's cars. But it's super comfortable, way quicker than I thought, and just felt like good quality. And since I'll be owning one car and one bike, I want to try out a simple reliable project. And I like the older body style way better than the new, which saves me money =)
I feel ya. That's why I want out of my Civic. I don't want a tuner as a DD. I want a comfortable, reliable, luxury car that I can drive, take care of, and not have to d**k with. I just want a good A to B car, but I'm also a picky SOB

It's beyond retarded. Bunch of idiots in congress want to be spoiled little assholes and furlough a ton of government employees indefinitely because they can't pull their heads out of their asses and come to an agreement... It won't effect many of us much at all, but it will have long-term effects on the economy if they remain "shut down" for more than a week.

Ha! My buddy drove one of these (albeit, it was a huge beater) for like 4 years. Thing was a piece.

Good thing about the government shutdown is that I don't have to do my research paper on a National Park, but I can't access the website since its shutdown. =)

I have an 89 CRX Si that's red as well. Great shape! i love these when they're done right. Sadly I'll never get the chance to work on it. Trying to move by end of month.

The last new car I bought was in 2005. It was a close out sale of a new 2004.5 350z for $32k. Payments were $675/mth and I made about $1600 every 2 weeks in the military (including my housing/food allowance). I was such an IDIOT! I swore up and down after that I'd never buy another new car again. I wound up getting into a front end wreck about a year later but it didn't get totaled so I used the insurance cash to put it back together myself and did the Greddy twin turbo set up. Drove it for 3 months and then sold the car for $21k.

... I don't really have a point here except to say I hate car payments  ... Although to be fair a buddy of mine (The one in Lancaster) has a 550hp GTO (He supercharged it) that he bought brand new back in 2005 but because they were going out of business (was that 2006?.. anyway) they did 0% financing. Now THAT I could handle! Payments that have 0% interest are OK with me :thumbs up

Me too. I told the salesman "find me one in white, black interior, 2.0T, 6-speed manual and a sunroof. Preferably older body style" and he's like "uhh... okay" Not very common I would imagine.

 Holy s**t that's a lot for a z lol. My dad pays $650 a month for his F150 EcoBoost he had built. A bit outrageous for an F150 if you ask me, but he had it built with every package you can imagine. I think it was like $65k out the door. Eesh. The car I'm looking at is only $25k, and I'm having a hell of a time getting financed for this thing. It's making me crazy. I can afford it without an issue, but I don't want my payment to be more than $300 a month. I think that's reasonable.

Isn't the general rule of thumb for car financing $100/ month for every $10,000 financed on a new car/good credit? So.. I would say under $300/month on $25k is on point.

I hope your credit is super great. I got my wife's lancer for around $23k and we pay little over 400 for it.

Damn. Are you over 25? I'm 20, paying 85 a month for liability (with a few extras) on my 96 civic ex. On my dads policy.

I'm in the same boat as you as far as the car payment. The one I want is $20k-$25k and I want my payment to be under $300. I plan on building credit from my rent payments and getting a credit card here soon.

I'm 23 but I've also got my house insurance and 2 other vehicles on the policy. Also no wrecks or tickets. My liability was only $20 a month for my civic.

My thoughts exactly! My goal out the door is $19-20k, taxes and licensing included. Willing to go in with a $2500 down, which is 10% of the sticker price. That should essentially cover licensing, maybe a portion of the taxes. Drop the cost of the car to my asking price (which is not bad), and I should be golden.

I hope your credit is super great. I got my wife's lancer for around $23k and we pay little over 400 for it.
I have a co-signer with A+ credit. I have a credit score of 675 myself, but with some accounts in collections. Surprisingly, zero negative marks, though. I also have 3 active credit cards, all in excellent standing. This s**t is frustrating as all hell. I talked it over with Kelly, and she gave me some great recommendations which have been helping me a bit (keeping credit in order, maintaining good debt to income ratio etc.), but I'm impatient, and kind of in a bind. I need a car like.. two weeks ago lol.

Either have a fat down, or a cosigner with amazing credit and literally zero loans in their name.. Probably gonna need both, though. My APR with a badass cosigner was 8%. I want 3.9. Dunno if that's gonna happen, though... With 8%, I was at your asking price, and my payment was $345. I could have swung it, but it would have left me with less money to enjoy myself with, which I don't like haha. Also, full coverage insurance was $150, which was phenomenal haha.

Yeah, if I drop my Civic to a casual car at liability, it's $15 a month lol.

No tickets or wrecks here either. I even have a discount from a defensive drivers course I took. I'm with State Farm.
