Where did you get the can and what does it look like? I've never used plasti dip before but keep hearing about it. I want to do the Odyssey trim.
Decided to plasti-dip a small part of the Audi, to see how it would hold up. If this holds up well, I'll go ahead and plasti-dip all the chrome moulding and begin blacking stuff out. Looks great so far, and is holding up well! I'll give it about a month.

I got it from Home Depot, actually! It looks like a spray paint can, and when applied, it goes on a lot like Rhino Liner (kind of thick, viscous rubbery stuff). It dries with a thicker rubbery feel, kinda like rhino liner, but lighter. It has excellent coverage, and it's no commitment (peels off if you decide to revert). I had plasti-dipped some of my interior pieces on my Civic, and that stuff held up for over a year pretty well (we didn't do enough coats, so it wasn't thick enough when it was laid on, so it peeled a tiny bit).
Apologizing only weakens you in a case like this. You did absolutely nothing wrong.

So how does it look on the car after it's all said and done? Does it look like rhino liner? I don't want my shiz to be all bumpy and what not. I'm mean with a rattle can and 9/10 with a automotive spray gun so I like my stuff to look top notch. The good thing is that it can be peeled off if you don't like it or for resale, but I want it to look nice up close too!
It looks great once it dries, so long as you apply it properly (as with any type of paint). There's very little texture to it, and it looks smooth. You can actually get it diluted and gunnable form this website dipyourcar.com. It only comes in massive quantities though haha.
