so ill spare you guys the dirty details and cut to the chase to avoid any silly 'new guy' thread, first import car, never dealt with a transaxle before. anyways, 94 sedan. 142xxx miles. totally virgin. never been apart. needs a clutch and throwout bearing. I've watched youtube vids and collected a great deal of info(so much as I'm not asking how to do it) what it boils down to is time constraint and learning the his and lows of these cars. while the the car is apart, trans out and all, what else should i expect to need replacing? passenger side axle? any easy to reach motor/trans mounts? all in all, i know ill be replacing the clutch(the whole kit they sell at parts houses) and the starter while I'm in there(family owns an electrical rebuild shop, might as well) are there any particular sensors or any tiny tidbits that are easy to reach and would be easiest to deal with while its torn down? ill most likely be tackling new exhaust from the cat, back. i know, don't fix what aint broke, but that doesn't pertain to preventative maintenance. so any and all advice on anything that is common(or not) or anything that should particularly be inspected, would be greatly appreciated. I'm a single dad with short amounts of time to work on my only ride. so all of this is important. id like to place an order for everything all at once and hopefully avoid going between stripped car and parts supplier more than once or twice. thanks for the previous help fellas. take it easy
