I love seeing all the customizing that Tesla owners do to their cars. It makes me smile =)

He did right to not include, but it does depend on area. Here in LA i can get a civic cheap dependinh where i buy but i have seen them for 5k+ it doess look like it can get 3800 . The only thing that throws me off is the gray interior. Ive never been a fan.

Tapatapa
It does depend a lot on area and here in San Antonio this is one of the top 25% clean civics. Most of the ones I see are all ragged and torn up.

e level air set up is 4.5k for what I want and wheels will be 4-5k so 9-10k totals a good bet

In reference to Alex's take on the Tesla fire inquiry. If it doesn't relate to a Honda CBR, no care. Sarcasm present.

If people would stop running over big s*** in the road, they wouldn't hit the batteries and start a fire.
In the few I've seen, the fires are contained under the hood allowing people to pull over and get out.
The one in Mexico is the only one I've seen where it breached the cabin, but the car is pretty banged up too so that could play a factor or their speed did at least.

I didn't get it... no established credit. I guess I'll try Chase since I have banking history with them. But I don't have a lot of faith. I don't have a cosigner. My uncle said he would be more than happy to (an avid motorcycle enthusiast) but his credit it no good. Matt's brother even lowered the price of the bike to me last night....

I was mainly interested in Alex's view on the issue being that she works for the company. An insiders position.

This fire thing is absolutely ridiculous. Because we are a new company the media wants to attack us. I personally haven't been too interrogated about it, but apparently Elon has.
There are about 250,000 ICE fires a year, out of how many gas cars are on the road today. There are roughly 22,000 Model S's on the road today, and we've had THREE car fires. And how have they caught fire? By people running over s*** and people driving drunk in Mexico. That Mexico owner I believe hit TWO cement barriers and then a tree. And guess what? No one was injured. At all. Even the Tennessee accident was able to get some papers out of the glove box, while the car was burning. All three of these people are apparently planning to order another Model S (the one here in Washington should be taking delivery of his soon if he hasn't already. We just did a PDI on his new car.)
So out of these 250k gas car fires, there have been roughly 400 deaths. A Model S has not killed anyone (to our knowledge, and with how the media is behaving I feel that statement is incredibly accurate).
Here is a statement that Elon wrote about this whole situation, and I feel that a good (and amusing) point was made:

"It is also why arsonists tend to favor gasoline. Trying to set the side of a building on fire with a battery pack is far less effective."

http://www.teslamotors.com/blog/mission-tesla

And I will add; some people have been saying "we're the only EV to have issues with fires". That's a blatant lie. At least our cars aren't catching on fire in people's garages and burning their houses down... :what: oh wait, did we all just forget about that?
