Hey guys first civic just bought it couple monthes ago. Idle is continuous high and low high and low jumps in rpm's. Everyone is saying clean iacv. Went to do that and found no vacuum lines on mine. Cannot locate any lose lines anywhere cannot figure out where I would even run new lines if they are missing. Any help would be great.

What car and engine?

What CEL codes are thrown?

Have you cleaned the IACV?

The IACV has no vacuum hoses, just 2 coolant hoses.

Have you bled the cooling system?

Which port? Have you tried jumping the service connector or plugging in a code reader? Click the codes sticky in my signature.

Lol I'm asking where the coolant lines are from that hook up to the iacv because I cannot find any
Actually, this^ is the first time you're asking the question.

If you're here to solve problems, then you need to provide much more detailed information, ask specific questions, and also answer all questions put to you.

If you read my post again you will see I said I could not locate any lines on the iacv and I requested where the lines come from such as a diagram of the coolant lines from the IACV my apologizes. As for the CEL I plugged in my scanner and the obd port is broken and will not connect to my scanner plug I don't know how the previous owner managed to do this but he did. What I own is a 1996 honda civic ex 1.6 Manual 5 speed transmission. Once again the rpms at idle drop low then rev then drop low it's just a continuous pattern of up and down rpm durations. Sometimes it will only do the up and down rev's a couple times then smooth out but most of the time it continues to do it at idle. Other than that I am not having any engine issues or "power" issues that I can tell. Like I said this is my first on it's my winter car, I'm a diesel guy what ever other information you need I'll answer just mainly asking if maybe this previous owner by passed the coolant lines? Or where I would find these unhooked coolant lines so I could hook them back up to the iacv
