Hmm Porsche ehhh. I just don't like the looks of them. The color looks almost like a champagne.
There was RWB Porsche there. I never thought I'd see one in real life.
Well Wekfest was dope. I met CHILD he's a pretty cool dude.
Jeez louise poopy butt. I know at least Young cares.
I'm thinking about picking it up this week maybe.... I forgot I got paid two days ago, and I'm way under budget for Christmas shopping (which is all done ).I do care!
So it sounds like you might pick this one up after Christmas, eh? Nothing wrong with fixing one up. I know a lot of people say to start on a used bike, I'm still undecided, though I'm only in the market for a 250/300cc. If I were looking at 600's like you I would go used all day.
Glad you had fun and the test ride was a success! Looking forward to seeing more of the bike!
I'm totally buying you an ironman shirt if you get this bike
Bikes are for teenagers as is, but if you do end up with that death machine, you better name it Stark and nothing else.I'm thinking about picking it up this week maybe.... I forgot I got paid two days ago, and I'm way under budget for Christmas shopping (which is all done ).
Is it sad I want to name it "Tony" or "JARVIS"?
Woah that wasn't nice!Bikes are for teenagers as is, but if you do end up with that death machine, you better name it Stark and nothing else.
Fixed my random misfire (for now) with a coil pack and spark plugs. $46 later, and the car runs smooth. Gotta love it. And holy s*** are ignition coil cars easier to work on! So much simpler than worrying about firing order.
Weekend was kinda a bust. Had friends over, played drinking games etc. Found out I typo'd paying my trash bill (bi-monthly) last month, so they took my damn trash cans and want $188 to bring em back. DOH. Have to figure out how I'm gonna resolve that, but oh well.
No but he confirmed it on his build thread. And you didn't take a picture with him?! :O
I'm like, nervous to text the owner of my bike (he's my buddy) to ask him when I can get it. I'm going to see if he'll take $2800 instead of $3000 because the chain is so screwed...
That's what my uncle said. He was originally asking $3800.Doesn't sound unreasonable. Was 3000 his original asking price or has he already come down a bit?
On a side note, thanks to the mod that merged my last posts sorry for the double, tapatalk just doesn't have a multi quote function yet for iPhone. At least not to my knowledge.
leave your feelings out of negotiations. if you're going to have to replace the sprocket and chain (since you don't just do 1) you might as well get some extra money off and if you're picking it up now you're just going to have to store it for a few months. That's what my uncle said. He was originally asking $3800.
I'm over analyzing this WAY too much...

Jack Baruth said:guy buys Porsche 964 Turbo and has Japanese guy hack out some hideous-looking bodywork, drop that b**** into the weeds, and basically turn what was a very complete and satisfying performance car into a rolling caricature. The car is then taken to SEMA so the tribe of mildly retarded sideways-ballcap mooks who clutter this country’s unemployment lists and convenience-store parking lots can crown Scotto as their king.
The good news? RWB’s “expertise” runs pretty shallow. Akira Nakai isn’t running Rinspeed or Ruf. He probably doesn’t understand the cars well enough to make major changes on them. Twenty years from now, a future owner of this car will be able to restore the 965 back to stock. Sure, it will cost money, particularly in the rear quarter-panels (and the suspension, which will almost certainly be ruined by the ridiculous wheels) but it will be possible.
These “RWB” cars are just as ridiculous as all the “stance” garbage out there, but in this case the victims aren’t thousand-dollar Jettas or Marysville-built Accords. They are limited-production automobiles, built in small quantities under regulatory and business conditions which will never exist again. They’re precious to future generations and they should be left alone.
Oh god. Let me see if I can find the chrome rwb car from wekfest.
