Let's be honest you don't want that high up. Unless you are old and able to afford them. That's marriage material.

That's gonna be my mentality when I get the Miata. I've been fine I took the civic of Craigslist I'm gonna sell it when it's tax season. After taking it off CL a week later I spun out putting a bald spot on 2 tires. Now it's on ugly grey steelies. I have been looking at a whole lot of parts for the Miata. A lot of expensive parts. Have you heard of Autokonexion.com?

Yeah, I've heard of autokonexion.com. I've heard some good stuff and some questionable things. I Haven't had the chance to personally look into it. Still going for the Miata huh? Its a good base to work off of. Place a TD04 turbo on it ;) how did you spin out?? Good choice on the selling time. I hopefully make good progress on the MR2 and sell around that time.

Well I might get these fenders. They're looking good.

I will be boosting the stock motor whenever I acquire the funds.
I spun out cruising the hill country with 2 of my friends one 35°F night(it was the night before Thanksgiving). One has a NB miata, and the other has a EG coupe. I was leading down this curvy road and there was a turn that I usually take at 70, but I was feeling frisky so I took it at 85 (bad idea). As I turned in I felt the back swing out a little too much then when I corrected it I thought I had it and it just swung back around and I spun out. While spinning I thought I was gonna crash since it's a 2 lane road and the fences are about 10 feet from the road, but as it was spinning it slowed down and it was creeping more and more to the fence. Finally it came to a halt when the front end hit the fence and cracked the front bumper and scratched some paint. All in all the damage was 2 tires with a baldspot and a couple of chips and a crack on the bumper.

Its hard getting a ff car out of a spinout. Not impossible but very difficult. Thankfully you only had that damage and made it without and (serious) injuries. I'm sure I don't have to tell you but don't push it if your car isn't set up right. No one needs someone they have met dead on the holidays.

As far as the fenders...idk what to feel haha, I've seen them in person and they're alright. Really depends on what you're going to do with it. They're a good option for track based cars as far as suspension and wheel fittment is concerned. Usually this deals with people looking to get 205-215 + size tires for stability but that is seen more on Drag cars rather than D1 cars. You also see this in F1 and Le Mans.

That's true, I learned not to push it no more. I'd rather get it for fitment as long as with the rear fenders. I'm planning on getting 15x8 Work meisters or SSR S1s.

Possibly 205/45-50/15 if I want a little stretch or 215/45-50/15 if not. I was thinking about spacers, but haven't thought about the size yet.

You might be able to fit 205s on there with fully adjustable coil overs but it might rub depending on your drop...which depends on quality and spring rate. Looking forward to it though ;) im going to fit some 205s on the rear for the aw11

Yea I was looking at maybe some Flyin Miata V-maxx coilovers or tein flex, but I still got some research to do. I also want to put some frog arms on it and the bars that go between the seat and the door for stability.

Frog arms lol, and I meant you can fit them without the wide body/flared fenders. I would suggest that you invest in a real good set if you're planning on keeping it. Something with know stats.

I think I might I haven't driven one I just ridden in one.

They're good cars, but a suspension set up makes a huge difference. They're fun. Not necessarily for me but good. You will know once you drive it for a good while and begin to know it inside and out. That's how I was with the 86 and the Fc. I kept the Fc though ;) that's my next build . Gotta finish the mr2 though so that I have something to drive beside a v6 .

Yea I'll need to ride around for a while, but first thing I'd get for it is a roll bar then a good suspension setup.
