Haha, he calls that setup too far.... clearly he must have no idea what an ERL K26 longblock is like.

These builds aren't very "extreme". If you consider our ideal builds extreme, what would you consider a RWD Integra? Because it's been done before. Or how about an LS1 "EK" Hatch? That's been done before too.

Burgundy may be young, but not all of us are full blown honda gearheads. I have no clue what a ERL K26 longblock. The most I seem to come across is that it may be a hybrid between a K20 &a K24. Would youcare to clarify for me?

truth. AWD k20 civics, f22 s2000 swapped civics that are rwd. Tons of crazy builds

it's a completely built stroked k24 to 2600cc with a rbc head ported with massive drag cartel stage 5 cams or similar. It's a crate engine with everything upgraded. A massive bullet proof engine basically. Crazy high price tags on them.

yeah, the heads on K series motors vary pretty widely in terms of flow (CFM) and how much they can be ported (the restriction with porting is based off of the water passages in the head)

Thanks for clarifying, fellas. So an ERL K26 longblock build can produce between 310-330 HP? Damn! Roughly $10,000 is a heft price tag on top of the car cost.

At least that much, easily more with your choice of bolt ons and a tune. Fully built NA K's are in the 400s for whp
