Been a while since I've been here. Getting the go-fast itch again, and I refuse to mod an automatic Audi. STi may be in my future... trade my car in at the end of this year/beginning of next, find an 06-08 STi that hasn't been molested/beat to s**t for under $20k, get some good power out of it, and daily a badass rallycar. Because rallycar. DO WANT.

I just need a sports car. I love the luxury the Audi provides, and the comfort, but even the 2.0T doesn't pick up enough for me. We'll see how it goes. Still a long time off.

Sounds like a plan. If you can get a brand new one man.. do it!, because you know that performance cars like STI or Evo, or whatever, are diver by people who know what the car is about and about the power of the car, therefore making the chances of Abusing high. Grandmas don't buy Stis, you know what i mean?

I want a 8th Gen Si, but I'm a little scared of being the second owner, possibly 3rd owner of a car that could have been abuse and used for who knows what. CARFAX helps to a certain point.

I feel you man, it is absolutely risky. If I do decide on a used one, I'll have to a) find one with VERY low mileage (under 50k), and b) inspect every square inch of it + CARFAX and have a reputable mechanic look it over. Only then will I take it.

Looking like I might be getting on at longhorns as a line cook, with aspirations of management. Management starts out at 40k/year. Even as a line cook I'll be almost doubling my hourly wage, and hours. Money to be made. Looking forward to the opportunity.
