K20A3 into EJ8

Ive recently bought a K20A3 engine and i have an EJ8 that is my baby and ive always wanted to put the K20 into it. Any advice or help?

Sell that k20a3 and get a k24a1/4/8 instead to start with.

it's not different, it's just simply not even worth the effort. Look at the costs to end up with a 160hp/140tq setup:

$$$ for:
transmission
shifter cables
shifter box
engine mounts
conversion harness
axles
kpro/aem ems/ktuner
swap header
exhaust system

and even then, you're left with minimal options for upgrades just like a sohc D series would be. I don't see the point in using such a weak motor unless boosting it was your intention or you had no choice whatsoever but to use an A3

What is it that you like about the A3 so much to make you want to use it?

OP def go with something else. Kswaps are expensive enough, make it worth it and have no regrets by the time you are done. If you want 160hp you can have a b16 for tons cheaper.

I'm planning on boosting it. I got the ecu trans and engine together already. I not looking for crazy power. Just want over 200 whp

The ECU needs to have hondata kpro installed or you're not doing anything. If all you want is over 200whp, the just do a vtec killer setup with the A3 by dropping in the RSX type S cams and rockers, switch to a RBC intake manifold and have the car tuned and you're good to go.
