Changed Oil Pan and then PROBLEMS!

I changed the oil pan on my 1995 Honda Civic DX by unbolting the exhaust pipe that obstucts it, then the plate that covers the two gasket bolts (it covers the transmission flywheel). After a long scrape fest I got the gasket off, applied RTC, gasket bolted everything back on. I took it on the freeway where I got up to 40 MPH and then the car just died, parked on the side of the road I tried to restart and it would not turn over. So after a nice long walk home and getting the car towed home, I of course came here to post the question of what happened and why will it now not start?

Any and all suggestions welcomed!!

Will only assume you refilled the oil after changing the pan ;)

Did you happen to check underneath to make sure everything looked like it was still intact? How is your oil level currently?

Ha, I hope the oil level isn't it. It could be an unrelated issue. Do you have a CEL? Do you have power? What caused you to change the oil pan in the first place?
