Sorry for the double post here:

I know... I'm just not having any luck finding one on a lot. No one got these in manuals! :cussing:
It's a luxury vehicle, so yeah haha. Not a lot of people want to drive luxury manuals.

Get preapproved at a credit union. I will not finance a vehicle anywhere but a credit union.
Credit unions are the way to go, but if you don't have good established credit, they won't touch you.

Co-signer can drastically sway the odds if they have primo credit and a good income.
Well then that helps. Because I have basically no established credit. I need to get started.

Are you talking about financing a car?
Someone will still finance you. It'll just wont be as fast as if you had established credit.
Also you might need to show more proof of income then just filling out the credit application at the dealer.
In other words, the lender needs to see that you really will be able to make those payments, since they don't have other type of history go by, they can't just take your word for. You must prove it.
Your interest rate will not be the best because there isn't any credit history
BUT, you can re-finance once your credit starts building up(usually after 8 payments)
Don't get a co-signer, try to do it all by yourself., you're not 18.

If you can wait 8mo-1 year, Go get a credit card and use it as a Tool To Build Your Credit Only.
Then, go finance the car you want.

This is true, but a co-signer isn't a bad thing if you have fledgling/bad credit. In my case, I hurt my credit pretty bad, and spent about 2 years repairing it. It was decent when I bought my car, but not amazing. I got approved for what I wanted with 14% interest. Wasn't doing that, so my mom co-signed. I have 2.99% now. Major difference. The car is in my name, loan is in my name with her as a co-signer, and it's helped my credit significantly. It's all circumstantial!

nah, co-signer is not a bad thing necessarily. my mom co-signed for me on my first car when i was 19, and her name was also on the title lol

I literally have never even owned a credit card. That's how much I don't have established credit. I've been denied a credit card and a loan for this reason.
