What's up dood, sweet pick up on the mint hatch. You can touch up your grille with color match spray paint from Orielly auto parts stores. They will mix it for you and fill a rattle can with it. You can also get the clear for it too, if hey don't have your paint code on file, they can scan your cars paint and formulate a paint match. That's what I did when I resprayed my rear after gutting and removing the sound deadening.

Just remember that prep work is 95% of a paint job. I also cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, constantly untill there was no dirt whatsoever on my shop towels. I used preps-all spray can cleaner from Advance Auto Parts and blue shop towels.

So i'm thinking of getting a strut bar to tighten up the rear of the hatch, it seems like it has a lot of body roll or twist when a taking turns. What is the name of the bar that goes back there? C pillar bar strut?

yeah, crazy isn't it? I want to polish up the valve cover, and give the rest of the bay a thorough clean up and make it better than new.

I'd do a bay tuck if i knew anything about wiring, lol.

A c pillar bar connects where the rear seat belts bolt in up top, then you have a shock tower bar that connects at the top of the shock towers, then below the car you can have a sway bar. The lower bars have the greatest effect on handling, like any foundation, it starts from the ground up.

tucking wires is ok, but tucking components - idk about that.

Cool thanks, i'll start with sway bars first and work from there. If i just do rear will that cause some understeer?

Doing the rear increases oversteer.

I'm okay with that, i just hate understeer. Guess i'll start shopping around. If that doesn't solve my creaking i guess it'll just give me an excuse to get function and form coils, lol

I'm thinking that there isn't any difference between brands, and im looking at the blox sway bar. but is there any that i should avoid or aim for?

Your creaking is most likely some bushings somewhere.
As for the sways, I haven't heard of any issues with a particular brand but they tend to vary in sizes from brand to brand of anything.

wouldn't surprise me if they were still on stock bushings, probably half rotted. is that something that could be done easily by a driveway mechanic?
