You should give my thread a read through. My suspension is completely overhauled.

my antennae block off plate came in the mail today. in my opinion that gangly ass antennae is the ugliest thing on the outside of a civic and had to be the first thing to go. one of the screws doesn't fit flush, which irks me a little. but it's honestly barely noticeable and i'll get over it and with my luck i'd crack the damn thing if i tried to get it any tighter. i might try to enlarge it a bit with a knife if it bothers me enough.

Don't mind the dirty car, it's been raining mud and dogshit all week:

I'm okay with that, i just hate understeer. Guess i'll start shopping around. If that doesn't solve my creaking i guess it'll just give me an excuse to get function and form coils, lol

I'm thinking that there isn't any difference between brands, and im looking at the blox sway bar. but is there any that i should avoid or aim for?
You're rushing into stuff.

1) If you're on crap all-seasons that's likely the main cause of your handling woes, combined with old bushings and tired springs/dampers.

2) Sway bars are for suspension tuning, get the car close to driving as you'd like, then choose whether or not to invest in a sway bar, don't build the car around that. Its actually more ideal to be able to get the car driving as you'd like without the sway bar, they are a band aid that actually result in less than optimal performance (as compared to getting similar results sans sway bar).

Yeah i've started to look into bushings. Is it probably the trailing arm bushings that i'm looking at changing out?

and the tires will do heaps to help, im just waiting on finding a wheel setup so i'm not wasting money.

All good points definitely, thank you. =)

Don't think of just one particular set of bushings. Refresh them all like 96romacx.

I agree with CHILD, replace them all, to be honest I'd replace almost everything in the suspension if I were you. Your ball joints, sway bar links, etc., are all probably past due for a change as well.

The price of playing with 20 year old cars haha.

ya it's paid off so small preventive maintenance like this isn't a problem, and i definitely don't mind doing things right the first time around

Gave it a quick wash and wax. spotted a lot of places where i need to do some paint touch up, and somehow fix some dents, but at least it's shiny.

It's going well, just been trying to keep cat pawprints off my hood right after i wax it. which seems to be a losing battle. Paid about 3k for it or so. Yes, it's my first 6th gen, first japanese car.
