Im interested in getting a honda civic and learning how to work on them. At the moment however, I don't know much. In order to buy a civic i first have to sell my truck. I was offered a trade for it but was not sure how much this civic is actually worth. This is a quote from convo "Is on full adjustable coil overs the true ones and full rebuilt moter had lest then 5000 miles on it the body has 213k on it no rust anywhere runs great no nocking pot polished head stage 2 clutch all skunk 2 internals from the 240 cams lifters thiker rods valves stems seals brakes upper and lower strut supports solid engine mounts. Fully swapped dohc vtec motor. ". He sent pics but im not sure how to upload them from an ipad. Everything looks good besides paint job
Comment down below what you think its worth.

Well I mean...it's kinda hard to guess at a value without seeing the thing....Is it a 96-98? 99-00? Coupe? Sedan? Hatch? I mean, it's sort of difficult to just say "okay I'm trying to buy a civic give me a monetary value" with no real details >.> Pics first at least, that'll let us see what we're dealing with. It also depends on your truck I guess. I mean a fully built civic is worth a lot more than a rusting mazda b2000

Is that directly from what he sent you, like those are his exact words or are you just paraphrasing?

If it were me, I would pass. Not buying someone elses project, especially if I had no idea if it was ghetto rigged together or not.

If you are buying one to learn on, I would recommend finding one all stock and learn from the ground up the right way instead of because you have to constantly fix someone elses mistakes.

I agree with lethal. I speak from experience. I bought a 2000 Civic EX that was so nice with a lot of aftermarket parts. When I took it home and thoroughly examined it, it was a piece of s**t. So many wires were cut and so many bits and pieces were missing. I have a build thread on here so you can see how clean it looks, but when you look deeper, it's a POS. I ended up selling it a week later haha. On the bright side, I made a $600 profit.

Find a stock one and build it up yourself. That way you know it was built right (if you use quality parts and not eBay junk).
