Should I remove the perches on coil lovers

I bought coillovers and they didn't go as low as I thought so should I remove the perches ??? I have stock struts.

Just remove the tires, it will sit plenty low enough.

Why would you modify something that is designed to work as is? Something like suspension, that holds your car together is not something I'd mess with the structural integrity of.

Removing the sleeve is a bad idea. Not to mention the wheel well lip would be sitting on the tire more then likely.

The coilovers only go so low for a reason. Also, look at how damn thin a perch is, it would hardly make a difference if you removed one and then you wouldn't be able to lock the remaining perch in place.

I have stock struts.
Get some aftermarket struts that are made for lowered applications. Especially if you're trying to slam it, those struts won't last long. On the bright side, when (not if) they blow, you'll sit a little lower.. :lol:
