Have a Honda Civic Si 1.6 DOHC Manual Transmission with AEM Air Intake, Headers with Performance Exhaust, on 205/40ZR16 Rota Wheels. First time posting a thread. Thanks!

I raced the fiesta and it left me behind, I've been driving for quite a while and I hardly get beaten so this is a personal goal for me. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have a budget of 600 dollars.

Both are comparable in power. Better up your game. You already have the useless bolt ons so your only bet is forced induction. That or nitrous. Not really going to get much in your budget though.

Power is not comparable due to NA versus turbocharged, and 600 bucks isn't enough to make your si a competitor for the fiesta. The torque difference is too great.

I was being sarcastic towards the newb that is projecting like some kind of racer ("hardly get beat").

Thanks.

With fords magic "boost" that they arent supposed to advertise it puts the power difference too far apart for the widdle SI to catch up. Even for racers that have "been driving for quite a while".

All joking aside, I hope all this racing is done at the track and not on public streets in traffic.

We all keep getting older and the newbs just keep getting younger.
The maturity disparity seems to grow exponentially as time goes by.

I hardly consider a stock engined Civic, even being an SI, to be in the category of "racing". An air intake is virtually useless on a stock engine as is a "performance" exhaust. My suggestion is to spend those $600 in maintenance on your Civic over the next 10 years while the Fiestas age. Being a Ford, it'll be falling apart and performing poorly at that point. You'll smoke Fiestas then.

Not gonna happen with $600. Those cars scoot.

Who cares who wins. I don't give a f**k if I lose against a Prius. We're not talking about competitive drag racing where people put in thousands of dollars to make a drag car for the strips. Its only stock vs stock. Personally I find it stupid that you want to spend money just to beat a little Fiesta.

 Touche.

Fiesta's freaking move. Stock Fiesta ST won the novice autocross class here a few weeks ago. Guys first time. He obviously killed my RSX-S, but he was also getting better times than a newer STI, a couple boosted Tegs, Miata's, and a bunch others.

I'd say go to ebay, get 600 bucks worth of stickers . Your gonna need a advan one, nos, exedy, def need a greddy, buddy club and the one that's gonna make you slide by that nasty ford, the mugen sticker , it adds at least 100hp which should have you sitting on winners row my friend. Just be sure you guys race on very crowded road . And please make sure their are kids playing close/on the road. God speed buddy.
